semaphores and Solaris 7 8/99
I just installed the 8/99 release of Solaris 7 on three Sun Ultra 10's and it seems to have broken Samba. I am running Samba 2.0.5a and it works fine on an Ultra 10 running the 5/99 release of Solaris 7. All of the Ultra 10's are using the 64 bit kernel. This is the errors that I am getting. UEFI/EFI booting and constantly asking for ldlinux.e64
I'm setting up UEFI booting and got to the point of having the system talk to the dhcpd/tftpd server, grab the first image files (syslinux.efi) and then continuously request the secondary image file (ldlinux.e64). I'm wondering if I'm missing something or if someone can point me in the right direction of trouble shooting this. The tftp root has all the files to boot a BIOS type

Problems booting PXE-Client
Hi list, I have installed DHCP, PXE and the TFTP-Server tftp-hpa. I'm running Debian Woody on my server and I want to boot a PXE-Client with this server. I have installed all as it is described in the docs found on the net. Under root: /tftpboot/ /tftpboot/X86PC/linux /tftpboot/X86PC/linux/messages /tftpboot/X86PC/linux/linux.0 /tftpboot/X86PC/linux/vmlinuz

Cannot chain to another PXE server on the same subnet
Sorry for top-posting but my webmail forces me to. I added -W to the APPEND line as suggested but I'm still getting the same result: Booting... Altiris, inc. X86PC PreBoot, PXE-2.x Enhanced Build ID=402 PXEPreZero: Invalid PXE Server list format. and the client PC freezes right there. Here's the full content of my dhcp.conf: max-lease-time 86400; ddns-update-style interim;

chain to an Altiris PXE menu from syslinux
Hi, I finally got it working and it was just as Gene said except that option 43 didn't have the right value. I downloaded a utility called PXEForcedMode that gave me the binary string I had to use as option 43. In my case the utility reported the following data: dhcp server set optionvalue 43 BINARY 06010B0807AAAA010AD7903C00 dhcp server set optionvalue 60 STRING PXEClient dhcp server set

[LLVMdev] Generate Executable to Mips
You will need to install a cross compiler. I think you can find one somewhere in this link: https://sourcery.mentor.com/GNUToolchain/ Once you have a cross compiler, this should do what you want (if you want little-endian code): clang -target mipsel-unknown-linux -ccc-clang-archs mipsel -O3 hello.c -o hello.bc -emit-llvm llc -march=mipsel hello.bc -o hello.s mips-linux-gnu-gcc hello.s -o hello
