ACL SHARE
Hello!
From what I realized the problem is not in Samba, but in the way that
ACL work, with mascara question.
I did several tests:
touch bla
chmod 700
ls -l bla
-rwx------ 1 USERX domain users 0 Jun 29 09:53 bla
cp bla /home/QUALIDADELEIT
getfacl /home/QUALIDADELEIT
getfacl /home/QUALIDADELEITE/

issues with security=domain
Hi Dear Samba Gurus,
We're planing to migrate the old samba server to a new samba server.
But the person who maintain old samba server have left, so we need to
figure out the configuration steps from the old config file. Now the things
that confused me now is the setting with "security=domain", the old samba
server config global sections are:
log level = 3

Show windows users/groups of a mounted smb filesystem.
Hi,
I have setup linux as a member server (fedora 1), it authenticates against
a w2k AD server and runs winbind. I modified the login pam file
so can login to the linux box with my windows account. After login
I see my windows "home" directory that is mounted from a windows
w2k fileserver.
All described above works fine the only problem I have that I don't see

HiHo!
I don't know wether this is an old one, but I've never seen this

--with-syslog --with-quotas --with-acl-support
After the update I'm experiencing strange behaviour when deleteing

Warning for SP2 net share point on Samba 3.0.7
Hi All,
Just a word of caution for those who are intending to roll out XP SP2
via a network share. I've encoutered an issue with SP2 and Debian Samba
3.07 when more than 5 simultaneous connections are in place. I'd set-up
and tested a rollout using the samba share, but come roll-out day most
of the 20 odd machines were still copying files some 48 hours after. No
specific errors were

Accessing multiple shares from one single client
I am facing the current problem:
I have one WinXP SP2 Clients trying to access multiple shares on the same
smb server. When booting up Windows I can login to one share, but not to the
other ones. Whichever of them I take first is working just fine. My username
or password (which is correct!) is being rejected. Is this a Windows issue
or do I need to adjust a parameter in smb.conf?

Hello
I found that in this version, in the access log, the source log lines are wrong.
The number of bytes transfered for the source is always 19 bytes...

[LLVMdev] Assertion failure in tablegen: rationale ?
While I'm at it, I noticed a behaviour which is not exactly related but
similar. To put it simply, you can 't do T.V.W, you need to do
!cast<Bla>(T.V).W
Example:
class Bla<string t>
{
string blu = t;
}
class Bli<Bla t>
{
Bla bla = t;
}
def a : Bli<Bla<"">>;
def b : Bla<!cast<Bla>(a.bla).blu>; // works

Form of \item{arg_i}{Description of arg_i.} in \arguments
Hello!
This really isn't so important, but it comes often in my mind, when
I write documentation for functions. Writing R Extensions manual says
that one should describe each element of the argument list (which is
afcourse OK) in a form:
\item{arg_i}{Description of arg_i.}
When I started with R it really helped me that some "man pages" used

Why is asterisk ignoring my context?
Hi,
I've been fighting with a sip configuration for a few days, and I just
realized why it wasn't working.
In my sip.conf, I have the following
[someprovider]
Bla
Bla
Bla
Bla
And in my extensions.conf file, I have this
Exten => 555-555-5555,1,Noop(test)
Sure enough, when I dial 555-555-5555, it works. What DOESN'T work is if I
use an extension in the sip.conf and
