Hi, at first, you have to use Samba Version 2.2.1 or higher. When you try to join the domain you have to give the root password, to authorize that the Client joins the domain. Hi, after the update from wu-imap to dovecot, opening e-mails on the imap server seems slower than with wu-imap. He should not be allowed to login to the server by telnet or ssh to use smbstatus, nore should he be able to use swat as long as he could view the configfile.
