Hi, I am mounting a windows 2000 share on a linux box (2.4.18) using smbmount (2.2.2). I can create files >2Gb on both the systems, but I can't copy a file >2Gb from the linux box over the smbmount. Rookie Question When I try to add a client machine (Win2k) to the domain I receive the following error message. "Unknown user name or bad password." hi, I have a pretty basic samba server installed on my Debian system. I use samba 2.2.3a-7 for Debian. Everything seems to work just fine except printing; Everyone is able to print (w2k clients) even though "guest ok = no" is set. The print job is done by the guest user (nobody). R spawns several child processes simply by writing commands to several files and using system() to start a slave process. The processes migrate perfectly, and often finish with no reported errors, writing their results into respective files for the parent process to piece together.
