Hi folks ! Has someone any idea on this issue on AIX 5.3 TL 10 with winbind ? I'm really stuck now ... I think everything is working pretty well with WINBIND and AD 2k3 , but not my most important point : I absolutely need the Secondary groups of each AD user which get connected to the AIX to use this filter with sudo... I only get Primary Group (which is by default "Domain Users"

Thanks Samba Team to support the ACL functionality. It is a very cool feature. I just replaced my Samba2.0.7 version to Samba2.2.4 and tried to test ACL function. User setting is perfect. But when I try to add a group from [Select Users, Computers, or Groups] dialog, and press [Ok]. It displays [Unable to lookup username for display]. Do I miss anything? While running configure on samba2.2.4 source on an HP-UX 10.20 OS, I get the following: checking configure summary... ERROR: No locking available. Running Samba would be unsafe configure: error: summary failure. Aborting config What exactly does "No locking available" mean, and is there a workaround? Samba from git (4-8-stable and 4-8-test) is failing to compile. I did not have these issues with the previous 4-7 branches. Basically this installation is just a simple file server, no domain, ad, print service, etc. necessary or even desired.
