samba wins and MS11-035
Hello Samba, I'm running 4.2.14 (yes, will update;-) ) as a DC. In our network we run security scans with a greenbone.net system which is basically a OpenVAS.org appliance. OpenVAS reports the following security problem against the samba wins server: Microsoft Windows WINS Remote Code Execution Vulnerability (2524426)

[LLVMdev] Extracting all BasicBlocks of a Function into new Function
Hi, I need to find a way to extract all BasicBlocks of a Function (no clones!) into a new Function that has the exact same signature, and adding a call to the new Function in the old one. I tried out lib/ Transforms/Utils/CodeExtractor::ExtractCodeRegion(...), but this one unfortunately checks first to see whether there are any allocas and/ or va_starts and returns a null pointer in that

Deduplication active - but how good does it perform?
I have deduplication active in my first mdbox: type mailbox, but how do I find out how well the deduplication works? samba 4.4.14 breaks classic domain
Good catch. I had set server max protocol to NT1 after upgrading from samba 3.x to 4.x . Some windows clients had problems with SMB2 and file shares (tho this should not really be an issue with the domain controllers.) I have now set the dc's to server max protocol = SMB2 server min protocol = NT1 and the client machine to be client max protocol = SMB2

ext3 device reported to be 100% full, but we do not know where?
Hello to everybody here, We have a strange problem with ext3. df reports 28 of 30 GB to be used (rest may be slack) which it calls 100% used. But with du we can only find 13 GB, most of it actually in pretty large files (archives). Where are the other 17 GB gone? samba 4.4.14 breaks classic domain
I increased the logging to 10 on the problem member server. Didn't see anything of interest. I did a packet capture on the PDC while typing " net rpc testjoin" from both the problem member server (4.4.14) and a working member server (4.4.13) e.g SMB: ----- SMB Header ----- SMB: SMB: CLIENT REQUEST SMB: Command code = 0x72 SMB:
