When I try to logon to my windows XP box I get the following error message from windows: Windows did not load your roaming profile and is attempting to log you on with your local profile. Changes to the profile will not be copied to the server when you logoff. Windows did not load your profile because a server copy of the profile folder already exists that does not have the correct security.

I have finally gotten my system working but am now perplexed about how to do group mapping. I have read and followed the smbgroupedit instructions but to no avail. I have a SID in my windows xp box that shows the correct SID but does not map it to a human friendly name ie. Domain Admins. So thus I can not have effective groups on my server yet (bummer). I have had Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0.1 installed on my CentOS 4.2 desktop and it worked fine. After upgrading to 4.3, I can't get it to come up anymore. I downloaded Acrobat Reader 7.0.5 and it does the same. I set up a samba share on a fedora core 5 box. I am able to drag and drop files to it, but when I try to save from an app, I get a message saying disk is full. These are all XP home clients. When I tried to share from an XP pro client it worked. Any ideas on how to fix this? thanks, Josh.

Sorry about the dumb question: Are the "BUILTIN\Administrators" and "BUILTIN\Users" local (nested) groups supposed to be populated with DOMAINNAME\Domain Administrators and DOMAINNAME\Domain Users (respectively) by default?
