FYI... If anyone is interested, i just finished implementing supporting for exporting printer & printer driver information stored in the various tdb's via the registry RPC routines. This code has been checked into HEAD already. I'm not planning on including it in any 2.2 bug fix releases, but thought some people might be curious to try it out. Hi, We are using samba2.2.6pre2 and still have the problem with the printer duplex/tray settings like in samba2.2.5 (although the duplex/tray options are configured on samba, they are not correctly set to w2k clients) Does anybody know why? Hi Jerry, It seems that the "samba-2.2.5-printing.patch" has only fixed the problem for PCL drivers. With PS drivers (Laserjet 4050 PS) are the duplex & tray settings still missing. Paul, I don't know if this helps but I'm running RH7.2 on ext3 with Samba 2.2.1a & Quotas, I haven't heard any users complain yet, (300 total users). Hi, I havn't herd anything more about this but i have been doing some reading up on winbindd. It appears that i cant use this anyway as it only works on Linux at the moment and i'm using Solaris (Is this correct?). I have now removed winbindd my configuration. FYI.... There is a bu in the configure script for 2.2.5 that prevents the script from locating the start_tls function in the OpenLDAP 2.0.x libs. Apply this patch and rerun autoconf. Should fix it.
