Hi, at first, you have to use Samba Version 2.2.1 or higher. When you try to join the domain you have to give the root password, to authorize that the Client joins the domain. Dear R-help, I think I have kinda isolated the problem I had to the following: i <- 0 while( {i <- i + 1} < 5) { if(i < 3) next print(i) } This seems to go into an infinite loop. After I break the execution, i has the value 1. At the R prompt, if I start from i <- 0 and keep typing {i <- i + 1} < 5, it eventually evaluate to TRUE. So why does the while loop not work?

Hi all, I'm trying to use DFS. Using smbclient 3.4.7 (distributed with Lucid) and windows servers with both 2008sp2 and 2003sp2. Smbclient successfully lookups up our DCC's. No matter who I log in as, I always get the message, Password expires in 10 days. Checking the /etc/shadow file shows that it is set to 99999 which means it shouldn't expire.
