[Samba] smbclient, DFS and not_defined_in_RFC4178 [samba 3.4.7 and windows 2003 sp2 AND 2008 sp2]
Hi all, I'm trying to use DFS. Using smbclient 3.4.7 (distributed with Lucid) and windows servers with both 2008sp2 and 2003sp2. Smbclient successfully lookups up our DCC's. If the first in the DNS reply is a 2003 server it works but if I get a 2008 it doesn't. The main differences is that I get a "not_defined_in_RFC4178 at please_ignore" principal in the SMB Negotiate Protocol Response from a 2008.
