Multiple-Line Comment (PR#13503)
Hello, sorry for writing here because my problem is not a realt bug but may be a solution for many people working with R: I miss the feature for commenting some lines of code at once without writing a bunch of "#" in front of each line. This is interesting for trying out some code. I found some workarounds like IFELSE(FALSE){} and `!`<- function(x) { if (inherits(x,

SAMBA 1.9.18p10 problem
I have been using Samba 1.9.18p8 in a Solaris 2.6 machine for months but suddenly this week there is a problem. Nothing's changed. I have some persistent connection of my NTSP3 client to the samba share. When I login as usual, it fails to mount the drive. It either prompt for password but whatever password the samba rejects, or give a "Access is Denied" when you try to access the

Advice needed for samba for school use
Hi: I'm setting-up samba 2.0.0 on linux 2.2.1 as a file/print server for a group of 24 Win98 machines in a mixed-age (K-12) school lab in Mexico. There are approx. 200 students and every hour the users change. The users do not often use the same machine they last used. I need to automate the process as much as possible; I'm sure this is being done elswhere and I hate to reinvent the

OpenSSH_2.5.1p2 hang on log out due to unclosed file handles in forked process
OpenSSH folks, We're run into a problem with OpenSSH_2.5.1p2 servers that we didn't see before, and I can't reproduce with OpenSSH_2.3.0p1 servers. (OpenSSH_2.3.0p1 seems to work correctly) We're seeing this bug on Solaris 2.7 and on Linux 2.2.15 machines. Basically, if you log into a machine, fork a process that leaves stdout, stderr, or stdin open, and try to log out of that

wine.conf newbie problem +user32.dll
I seem to have gotten past one hurdle and on to the next. It seems that the problem that I was having relates to poorly documented changes in the config files in the HOWTO. I now have /root/.wine/config which seems to solve the old drive problem. However, here is my new error. [root@pato .wine]# cp /etc/wine.conf ~/.winerc cp: overwrite `/root/.winerc/wine.conf'? y [root@pato .wine]# wine
