Libvirt-lxc and systemd question
Warning - I'm fairly new to libvirt, lxc and systemd so there is a good chance I'm doing something terribly wrong here. However, instead of continuing to struggle, I figured I would mail the list for some advice. What I'm trying to accomplish is a libvirt-lxc, systemd-based container running on my system (Fedora 19). I've read that sharing the underlying OS filesystem with

netbios nameserver nmbd doesn't work with non-standard subnets
It would appear that nmbd doesn't do what it's should on networks that used non-standard subnets. To reproduce just set up a 10.0.0.0/3 network and observe that nmbd doesn't operate correctly.

nmbd: No subnets to listen to. Shutting down....
Morning, I'm running the HP version (CIFS) of 2.2.8a on a HPUX server. This morning a user complained that they could not connect to their share. What I found in the log.nmbd is: [2003/11/21 10:39:36, 0] nmbd/nmbd.c:(256) reload_interfaces: No subnets to listen to. Shutting down... When I checked the log file, I found out that this has occured a few other times in the past three

Browsing over subnet Problem & nmbd stop working after a few hours
Hi I have 2 Problems 1. I have a Samba server acting as a PDC on 2 subnet 192.168.0.xx and 192.168.88.xx, and 2 samba server as a stand alone file sharing server server. I used iptables to route the two network with the PDC as the router The PDC acts a DC and a WINS Server , I've set up the dhcp servers to give the wins address of the PDC, I can call machine in the 192.168.0.xx subnet by

Problems setting up Samba (nmbd) as multi-subnet router
Hi, i have a network with one machine acting as master router with 2x4-Port-Ethernet-Cards in it - running nmbd! There are two Windows-Workgroups, WRK1 and WRK2 in each there are Windows-Exchange-Servers EX1, EX2. In WRK2 the PDC is on EX2, in WRK1 there is a standalone PDC, PDC1. Every network is a full 255 IP-Network. 192.168.40.1 WRK1 EX1 (192.168.40.40) PDC1 (192.168.40.42) 192.168.41.1

Sample rates on ices
I'm trying to send out multiple streams. My encoder is a PII 233, so I have to conserve CPU cycles. I encoded my mp3s as 96kb/s with a 44.1 sampling rate. I send my 96k stream without reencoding and it sounds great. I also sned a 24k stream that is being reencoded from the 96k mp3s. It works pretty good, the load on my linux box is about 0.5 on average. However, the sampling rate is 8k.

speex on TI C5x fixed-point DSP
Hi Jamey, Really cool to see Speex being ported to the C55xx and I'd be glad to integrate the changes required in Speex (and the style's fine with me). Here are a couple comments on the patch you sent (I looked at it, but haven't compiled). 1) The changes you made to the pack un unpack functions would only work if the 16-bit chars are "big endian" (relative to the two bytes

Speex for TI 5509 DSP
Jamey, There is a previous posting in the speex archives with a link to the dsp c5x patch. bug fixes in vorbis-tools/share
Here's a patch to fix some bugs in my code, plus a header file I probably forget to send in before. * Missing header file charset.h. It's not needed outside vorbis-tools/share, so I think it can live there. * There was a minor bug in the UTF-8 decoder utf8_mbtowc(). * I've added some more tests in charset_test.c in an attempt to convince myself that there aren't any more bugs.

early userspace goals
Hi, I've been messing around with the early userspace for the last couple days. What are the goals of early userspace? Is the end goal to use it as an initrd replacement or is it simply to do all the mounting (nfsroot, initrd, hard disk) that is currently done in init/do_mounts*? thanks mh -- Martin Hicks Wild Open Source Inc. mort@wildopensource.com 613-266-2296
