[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Capability of Win32.DLL with ENABLE_SHARED
Good summer, all!
This patch enables ENABLE_SHARED=1 to build DLL based LLVM toolchain.
I have checked this on Cygwin-1.5, Cygwin-1.7, mingw(msysgit) and
mingw-cross-fedora12.
I can separate this patch into some parts; cleanups, adding
definitions and adding rules.
Any feedbacks are welcome.
Have fun!
...Takumi
* Pros
- reduction of linking time of toolchain.
- capability of -load

Samba over the Internet...
Is it possible to allow login into one of my machines over the internet.
I currently have Samba running as PDC and from my house, I can access
the computer just fine when I'm using WinXP. There are no problems with
that, when I'm at home, the specific directory I want is mapped to a
drive letter. However I would like to be able to do the same from work.
Is this possible? In other words,

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Capability of Win32.DLL with ENABLE_SHARED
Anton,
Thanks for your comment.
2nd patch attached.
- s/SharedDir/SharedLibDir/g
- move prefix=cyg sunk into if(cygwin or mingw)

* Additional issues
- You may build LLVMHello.dll but I don't modify lib/Transforms/Makefile.
Because making LLVMHello.dll requires the library LLVM.dll,
but it oughta be on the way to making libs at building

[LLVMdev] [PATCH] Capability of Win32.DLL with ENABLE_SHARED
Hi Takumi,

This seems to be pretty useful addition to LLVM on windows! And it
seems the only painless way to make plugins working, yay!
For me the patch looks pretty good. One minor thing: could you please
rename SharedDir => SharedLibDir
Thanks!

Cannot login to share from winxp
I'm using Fedora and have setup a samba share on the server.
I followed the instructions at:
http://www.reallylinux.com/docs/sambaserver.shtml
I am able to see the samba server through nwk nh but when I
try to access the share I get this error message:
\\server\share is not accessable. You might not have
permission to use this network resource. etc...
The /var/log/samba/machine.log contains:

finding a fix.

Connecting from XP to samba shares
Hi all,
This question has probably been asked and solved/dismissed several
times before, but I didn't find any clear solution googling about.
The problem is I have a samba server (in Mandriva LE2005) with
"security=share" (this is the setting I want). There I have a shared
directory I'd like to be available to anyone, provided they give the
correct password (win98 style).

[Bug 2294] Detect renamed files and handle by renaming instead of delete/re-send
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2294
--- Comment #26 from Ben RUBSON <ben.rubson at gmail.com> ---
### What's the diff between --fuzzy and --detect-renamed ?
If I understand correctly, --fuzzy looks only in destination folder, for either
a file that has an identical size and modified-time, or a similarly-named file,
and uses it as a basis file.
Whereas --detect-renamed looks

I am getting "sessionsetup failed: ERRSRV - ERRbadpw (...)
Could someone help me to connect FreeBSD 3.1 Unix (& Samba) with Win 98se (with all updates posted)? The error has to do with ...(Bad password - name/password pair in a Tree Connect or Session Setup are invalid.). I have read till my eyes are falling out. I have done the diagnosis and all works except the password problem. My Win box has the Samba Server in its network neighbourhood, etc.

Please note that when I enter several completely bogus passwords I always

ERRSRV Non-specific error code
Hi
We have version 1.9 on HPUX 10:20 trying to copy from win2000 (just upgraded
from winNT).
My observations seem to indicate that smallish files cannot be retrieved
with get but can with mget, whilst largeish files cannot be retrieved with
mget but can with get. The mget results in a truncated files (81679 bytes).
This does not make a lot of sense to me.
I will appreciate hearing from anyone
