I used the samba-3.0.1pre1 without problems. When I use the samba-3.0.4 (bug ms04-011 fixed), i can?t write in all shares. Is this a bug?! Alright, I give up. I'm going to go out in the parking lot and scream. Over the years I have built many, many versions of Samba on many versions of BSD[386,OS] and other unixen. Hi, I have installed the samba-1.9.17p3 on our Solaris 2.5.1 (named 'dor-ent1') and Linux (named 'iserver'). They work when I test out 'smbclient -L dor-ent1' from Linux machine and vice-versa.
