samba as domain member, access control by domain group membership?
I've searched the documentation, combed the archives and watched the
list for a while, and I haven't been able to find a conclusive answer as
to whether what I want is even possible.
I've got two Samba servers (one 2.0.7, one 2.2.0) functioning as members
of an NT domain. Both of them do beautifully with lists of individual
user ID's, but I'd like to make some shares

RE: Browsing cont'd
Don't forget to add the #PRE after the host info; that way it preloads it.
Create one lmhosts file for the Win boxes, and copy to either
\windows (win9x)
\winnt\system32\drivers\etc (NT/Win2k/XP)
then open a DOS Prompt and type nbtstat -R to flush/refresh
the cached info.
The samba box's hosts go in /etc, /lmhosts go in /etc/samba

[PATCH 1/3] drm: Add separate state structure for legacy, non-KMS drivers
Non-KMS drivers store state in struct drm_driver. This bloats the
structure for KMS drivers and prevents it from being declared with
'static const' qualifiers. Moving the non-KMS state into a separate
data structure resolves this.

installp errors
I am trying to install Samba 3-0.1.0 on an AIX 5.2 box. I am getting the
errors The name freeware is not a know user for file xxxxxx and A value must
be specified for owner for entry xxxxx. This is occurring on all files
that are trying to load. Any ideas?
Thanks,

ULOG logging may fail on some ulogd/logrotate configurations
FYI.
I have not been able to determine 100% that logrotate does this, but ulogd
appears to stop logging whenever logrotate runs. So far, the only obvious
commonality that I see is that logrotate ran and that the
/var/log/ulogd/ulogd.syslogemu is completely empty until I restart ulogd.
I have proven that the logging is broken by manually performing a network
operation that Shorewall normally

[PATCH 2/3] drm: Move non-kms driver state into struct drm_legacy_state
All non-kms driver fields are now located in struct drm_legacy_state. A
driver-wide instance is available via struct drm_driver.legacy. The call
sites test if the driver is marked with DRIVER_LEGACY before accessing
the fields.

Baldur's Gate 2 randomly crashes ("Runtime error") with Wine-20041201
Hi there,
I've recently compiled Wine-20041201 and I'm trying to get Baldur's Gate II
running. The installation sequence is fine, so is the main menu, character
creation etc. The problem is, once inside the actual game, the application
randomly crashes giving me:
Runtime error
c:\bg2\BGMain.exe
abnormal program termination
This happens often enough to render the gameplay quite
