Anyone using Forté Agent on a Samba share?
Hi.
My problem is this: my mail and newsreader, Fort? Agent, runs ok when
the server is NT but has the annoying habit of systematically trashing
its databases if the server is Samba. But not always...
If the client is 98, no problems at all. If the client is NT, then
Agent will work ok if you set "nt smb support" to "no". With this
setting, a client running 98 will fail to

[LLVMdev] Marking implicit registers as "trashed"
I am working on some optimizations for our VLIW processor; one ALU performs
32-bit operations, while another performs 8-, 16- or 32-bit operations.
Sometimes it is useful for the 32-bit ALU to perform 8- or 16-bit operations
such as ADD, SUB, SHL, AND, etc. that are not dependent on the additional
24-bits, but because it is 32-bit ALU, the condition codes are updated.

X-Post from Linux-RAID [Re: I just trashed my RAID5 array - recovery possible?]
Hi,
originally I posted this to linux-raid@vger.kernel.org, but I guess
there are chances that someone in here might comment on it as well.
TIA.

The only thing that makes this tricky is that you can?t just say ?rpm -e kernel? because there is more than one ?kernel? package installed.? You need to know the exact package name.

Using CentOS Live CD to recover trashed RHEL system
Hi,
There's a RHEL5 system somewhere across the internet with a trashed root
file system. I have VPN access to the subnet where it lives. But the
system is not talking to the network.
The current plan is having an onsite person boot from a CentOS Live CD, copy
a small script to configure networking, set a password for the centos user,
start sshd, and tweak the default firewall to allow

I've trashed my install
I upgraded from FC2 to FC3 and it broke the sym links to a: and the
cdrom. I couldn't get them back, then I deleted c: and z:, promptly
asking myself "why did you just do that they worked fine" The funny
thing is my /mnt is empty, I can pop a CD in and it finds it but what
did FC3 do with the entries in /mnt?
I looked for the setup tool that I read was in ./tool but can't find

how to delete a trashed kernel
I have a screwed up disk arrangement, but I have had no trouble because of it after using it over a year. Recently I did a yum update. After starting the update, which included a new kernel, it seemed to either freeze or loop. It was a long time at the? prompt and I got impatient and did a Ctrl C. I then tried to re-boot. The result was a kernel panic. I am keeping 5 kernels and when I select? the

win98 trashed & !$!$ files
Wine (20000213-1) has apparently trashed my win98. Many files seemed to
have been moved to directories named !$!$!$!$.*. Windows starts, but
almost nothing works since programs have been moved to these to these
directories. Any help in fixing the situation will be greatly appreciated.
This is on RedHat 6.2 (2.2.14).

Object lost in memory/trashed?
Hi,
I''ve got a problem on which I''ve spent many hours, and I can''t get a
clue on what is happening... I hope someone here will be able to help
me.
Here is the situation : my Rails app uses acts_as_commentable and
acts_as_bookmarkable on a Diagram model. Everything''s working OK
individually: I can create a comment on a Diagram, bookmark it, and so
on.

Thunderbird 3.1 unable to delete subfolder of Trash under mdbox

Trying to set up a Dovecot system with mdbox. But I also wanted to keep
some Maildir. So I ended up with both mdbox and Maildir side-by-side and
noticed an issue.
On this system, Dovecot's global mail location is configured with

I tried with following:
require ["imap4flags"];
if not hasflag :is "\\Seen" {
setflag "\\Seen";
}
And then this in plugins.conf:
plugin {
sieve_plugins = sieve_imapsieve
imapsieve_mailbox1_name = Trash
imapsieve_mailbox1_before = file:/etc/dovecot/sieve/trash.sieve
}
It works in outlook, the mail is opened (mark as read) when it goes to
trash.

I want to force all mails inside Trash to have an "opened"/"read" flag and
"Non-Recent" flag. Basically Status: RO
