wine can not find registry key(s)
Hello list,
I am trying to get "Allplan 2005" working. But during startup it exits
with an error message like "can not open registry key \\Software\foo
\bar"
But according to regedit the keys do exist. I have exported them under
Windows XP, and saved them as plantextfile somehow, and then imported
them with wine's regedit.
Here is some (hopefully relevant) debug output

ext3-acl & coreutils
G'day...
I've installed the acl - xatrrib patch from bestbits and it works nice on
my RH9 system with Samba..
the only problem i encounter is that a file or directory losses it's
extended atrributes when you copy it..
for example cp "--preserve=all /source /destination" preserves the normal
acl af the linux system, but skips the acl/xattrib from bestbits.

wrong user -> groupmapping
i stumble into the following prob..
got 302 - mysql3 - rh9
i have aprox 1200 users, and 1190 are domain users..
i got like 5 users, who should be mapped into domain user
mapped into domain admin ???
in the /etc/passwd and /etc/group files, the are mapped
in to domain user group, and NOT in the domain admin group..
(so this would be fine..)
in the mysql-db, the group sid- is set to the same sid

annyone interested in "ogg streaming" maillinglist
WHY?
because most of the Desktop users are intersted in ogg as replacment for
.mp3 and not as astreaming alternative to Real (which I think is very
important)!
because most of the discusion here is concetrated on
licencing/implementation and I would hate to add more to it
(for example I hate discussions over winamp topics ... since I don't
think it is very important to the ogg as

Plots of envfit (vegan) - placing of vector labels
Dear R folks
While preparing figures of 'envfit' plots with vegan for publication, I
ran into a layout problem, that I found no solution for in the
literature or the help archive:
The labels of the vectors that indicate correlations of environental
variables sometimes overlap with each other or with other content of the
figure. Hence, I would like to rearrange them.

(no subject)
Hi,
I am using PXELinux to boot my workstations in MS-DOS :-) mode (using memdisk) and then I start winnt.exe to install Windows 2000. I was wondering if it is possible to hide some of the extensive information being printed during the initilisation process. I tried to use the graphical splash screen but it only shows up for a very short time. What about implementing some sort of delay in the

Hi,
is there a way to boot a Windows PE image over PXE in UEFI mode.
If there is one, how do I write the entry in the syslinux.cfg file?

Samba(3.2.12 and 3.4.0) - Winbind - trusted domains - Problem!
Good Morning!

[LLVMdev] Viewing graphs while debugging code under windows?
Hi Ether,
The detection for graphviz / dotty / ... has been added recently to llvm cmake. It should work properly if those tools are available in the PATH. The related svn commits are : 86153, 86547 and 86644. Those commits are not present in llvm release <= 2.6, but they are straight forward to apply.
Best regards,
