Hi, I'm having a small problem: all network drives mapped off a samba server (1.9.18p7, Solaris-2.6) cannot be disconnected on the PC (win95 or NT) without rebooting the PC, all other network drives ca be disconnected. Any ideas? Samba's cred. is taking a serious blow because of this over here right now, I'd really like to solve this problem. Thanks in advance. Marc

I had the same problem with XP. Modifying the login script to delete the mapping first was the only cure I found. and just recently I found Service Pack 2 fixes this in XP! I don't know how the other OSs might be affected. ok from the beginning .. the "otto mp3" is a software piece that can take a lot of mp3s , put them in a mysql data base and then can 1. play requests that users make on the web interface out to the sound card 2. stream the song to the browser using icecast and ices. now the icecast and ices in "general" configurations works with either a playlist or mp3s if i am not

Hello All Since several weeks, we face a very strange problem with a samba pdc and ldapsam. It repeatedly seems to loose its pdc functionality. This brings very strange behaviours. The server is then already accessable (shares and browsing works as expected), but the windows machines cannot make a domain logon anymore (has then a priori no effect because they use their cached password),
