Doubt on browsing across subnets
Hi everyone,
I'm getting roughed up trying a new setup on my server. I tried this
with 1.9.18p10 and now with 2.0.3, first I want to see if I'm getting
this correctly and then if there's a solution to what I think is
happening.
I have the following setup:

Printing Problems w/Samba on AIX (2nd Try)
Hello all,
I have been running Samba on various versions of UNIX for quite a
while now without ever encountering any major problems. However, I have
now run into a problem that has me stumped.
I am running Samba 2.0.5a on an RS/6000 running AIX. Up until a
month or so ago we were running on AIX version 4.2.1. At that time we
upgraded to 4.3.2 and Samba continued to function properly.

Win2k clients problem after updating system
Hello all samba users and programmers,
Since I changed my system and reinstalled samba funny things happen in my net. I used to work with a Gentoo system and now I've got installed a Knoppix 3.2 Debian, but by now I don't think it's interesting for the problem I've got.
What I did was:
- install samba 3.0.0-final
- copy the old smb.conf file to the path in the new system

Unreproduceable bug in Samba 2.0.6
Hello Samba Developers,
Recently I've caused an endless loop in Samba, which caused the log file
to fill up all usable disk space.
This is what I've done ( or better, what I think I've done, because the
bug is not reproduceable ) :
- Mounted my home directory via Windows Explorer under Windoze NT.
- Logged into account under same name on same machine ( bash )
- created a soft link

Urgent Help pls - NT4.0 Term Server and SAMBA - RDR timeouts
Hello,
I'm new to this list.
The NT folk here, are concerned about some timeout errors and stuff that appear
in their event viewer. They are building a case to convince management that
unless these "samba" errors are fixed, we should move to NT file shares. I think
this is a bad idea. Can anyone help me out here.
We are running samba 2.0.6 (1st msg) and 2.0.5a (2nd err msg)

How to test WINS functionality and swat question
Hi,
The two servers I will mention are HP-UX 10.20 with samba-2.0.3
I've setup a dual-homed host and face two challenges. All of a sudden
swat has stopped serving web pages. I did no radical changes to the
smb.conf file (via swat) and now I get a "web server found, waiting for
answer" message and it just stays there, I can find no relevant error
message in the log files.

can't load library libc.so.5
Dear SAMBA-users,
after upgrading my S.u.S.E. - distribution to Linux kernel 2.2.x (along with glibc) SAMBA doesn't seem to run smoothly any more. When I try to invoke smbrun it gives the following error message:
./smbrun: can't load library 'libc.so.5'
I don't really understand linux that good - but I think that this has got to do with the fact, that the new linux I just
