Fw: VPN setup problem - proxy arp I think
Hi all, I read the setup at http://www.blackh0le.net/articles/vpn-dun-howto.html to setup my VPN. However, I'm having a problem which I think is proxy-ARP not working. I like to ask you to see if you know what's going on. When I ping 10.77.1.1 from windows XP machine the packets get to the 10.77.1.1 machine, but they don't have a return path to get back. distributed mdbox
Anyone know how to setup dovecot with mdbox so that it can be used through shared storage from multiple hosts? I've setup a gluster volume and am sharing it between 2 test clients. I'm using postfix/dovecot LDA for delivery and I'm using postal to send mail between 40 users. In doing this, I'm seeing these errors in the logs Mar 21 09:36:29 test-gluster-client2 dovecot:

File uploaded to webDAV server on GlusterFS AFR - ends up without xattr!
Hello list. I'm testing GlusterFS AFR mode as a solution for implementing a highly available webDAV file storage for our production environment. Whlie doing performance tests I've notticed a strange behavior: the files which are uploaded via a webDAV server, end up without extended attributes, which removes the ability to self-heal. Samba as Domain Member Server Authentication Problem
I've been working for hours with Samba on Ubuntu Server 9.10 (Samba version 3.4.0), trying to get it setup simply as a fileserver that performs authentication to an NT 4 server (yes, I know, old and out of date). After much struggling, I finally realized that my configuration *was* working when the clients connecting (from XP, and Win2k clients, mostly) were actually joined to the domain

The Windows server is running Windows Server 2016 and my Samba client is running 3.6.3 (it's the latest from SLES 11 but ported to SLES 10 - long story...). But today when I try to connect I get:

__Very__ Low Bandwidth
I am using the script below to simulate a very low bandwidth connection. I found that I could turn the bandwidth knob down to about 4kbit, but below that I didn''t get any traffic through. I''ve had a look at this generally, but couldn''t find an answer. It doesn''t even seem like the first reply packet gets through. I have tried it with much bigger buffers,
