hi- i'm using version 2.4.1, courtesy of debian testing, and noticed that in the web interface, the image for the battery voltage bar graph wasn't displaying. the other images (change, input, output, load) seem to be fine. the browser reports "500 internal server error", and apache reports "Premature end of script headers: upsimage.cgi, referer:

Running Samba 2.0.3 on a Digital Unix 4.0D system. All functions of the new Samba version appear to run properly (previously ran 1.9.15) with exception of users being able to change their own Samba password (root is only able to change password on behalf of users). question re: samba on Digital UNIX 4.0d
Hi everyone, I'm going to try to install samba on a Compaq (Digital) alphaserver 400 running Digital UNIX 4.0d (formerly OSF/1). I've never used samba before. I have been reading the documentation and wonder if anyone can help answer a question or two... The bundled book "Using Samba" (as well as at least one FAQ I believe), suggests I may need to run the configure script using

Digital UNIX - root authentication for SWAT
We have installed versions (1.9.18 and 2.0.3) of Samba successfully on AIX based servers without any problems. We are now trying to install Samba v2.0.4b onto a Digital UNIX 4.0d server. Everthing has installed correctly. Shares can be created through editing the smb.conf file and then accessed correctly through our NT network as desired. The problem we have is using the SWAT interface. We can

smbd chewing cpu on DU 4.0e
I'm still having some problems with 1.9.18p10 on a DEC Unix 4.0e machine (this machine was upgraded from 4.0d last week). The smbds can take up to 20% of the cpu at various times. Anyways, I've been through all this before with the mailing list and a number of people who have attempted to help me out. Thanks to all of you. But, I have some more info which may or may not be useful.

SUMMARY: Bad Password
I got the answer. I set up swat and found that security was set to user. When I set it to share things work like they did in 1.9.18p10. The manpages say that security = share is the default but I don't think so. Original question: This is the first problem I have had with samba, that I can't find the answer to, since I first started to work with samba. I am running DecUNIX 4.0d and I

digital unix linking problem
Greetings. I'm trying to install R-0.90.1 on our digital 4.0F servers (alphaev6 arch). Using either the digital cc and f77, or gcc 2.95.2 and g77, R compiles, but on trying to execute it I get: 11819:./bin/R.X11: /sbin/loader: Fatal Error: cannot map xxxxxxx I'm used to 'cannot map', but always with a shared library name, not 'xxxxxxx'. Has anyone else run into this

Asterisk Registering to other SIP servers.
Hello, I am trying to REGISTER asterisk to a SIP server, which is listening on Port 6060 (not 5060). The sip.conf file contains register=18474201111:quintum@192.168.2.94:6060/18474201111 maxexpirey=3600 defaultexpirey=120 But the REGISTER message is sent to Port 6060, but the Request-URI still contains, 5060. This is being rejected by SIP server. REGISTER sip:192.168.2.94

OPTIONS Request without username <-> Forbidden
Hi gurus!!! I have a Freepbx with Asterisk 1.8.25.0 with a sip trunk on the pstn Every minute asterisk sends an OPTION Request, i beleived that it's related to qualify functions. The every minute annoyng answer of the pstn is "403 Forbidden". Some people told that asterisk is not sending the username in the OPTION, required by the pstn. Taking a look of the example of rfc3261.txt

Curious problem with NAT
Hi list! Since the internal calls work as expected and I can register my Asterisk on an external provider, I'd like to add a new feature and allow my mobile phone to connect to my Asterisk and manage calls. Well, first of all, my Asterisk is NOT direct on Internet available, but behind a NAT. So I configured my sip.conf: localnet=192.168.200.0/24 externhost=myhost.noip.com externrefresh=180

samba: DEC UNIX password problem
I've just installed a new DEC Unix 4.0d machine and downloaded the binary version of samba 1.9.18p8 for DEC Unix. I am able to get it up and running, but I am having problems with passwords. I am being prompted for a password when I try to connect to a non-public share, and when I type in my password it is being rejected. I did set security=share in my smb.conf file. I also tried the

[UART] GPS 18-5Hz LVC and COM1 silence, OK on Linux though...
Hi, I'm having issues connecting Garmin GPS 18 to COM1 on 9.1, I get nothing but silence. Identical setup works absolutely fine with Linux. I've got PPS wire connected to DCD, but that seems to make no difference on Linux, so I presume it shouldn't affect fbsd either. On Linux, I get: $ uname -a Linux ubuntu 3.8.0-19-generic #29-Ubuntu SMP Wed Apr 17 18:16:28 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64
