Can someone explain why smbmount under Samba-2.0.3 (compiled under GNU/Linux Slackware, kernel 2.2.5, egcc 2.90.29) compiles smbmount, however, when I run smbmount, it's really smbclient? Hello, smbmount from smbfsx-2.04b-1 kernel 2.2.7 I got a little problem with smbfs. Everything works fine, but sometimes i get doubled directory entries (not all of them). I turned debug on in smbfs and it looks that the doubled items come from NT server (4.0 server SP5 (PDC)). Listing from smbclient is fine. I am running kernel 2.2.16-3 I was running 2.2.14-5.0 and I was still having the same problem. Is there a fix to this. Or is it a bug.
