Samba with winbind trouble
Hello,
I try to implement a samba server (2.2.7a) with the authentifiactions via winbind to a PDC W2000.
When I test winbind, it works:
[root@pxtest samba]# wbinfo -t
Secret is good
[root@pxtest samba]# wbinfo -a tli%password
plaintext password authentication succeeded
[root@pxtest samba]#
I enable the winbind on the /etc/nsswitch.conf:
passwd: files winbind

Netbench controller crashs
Hi All,
I'm running netbench against our samba based filer and having I believe
a controller problem.
When I configure the test to run multiple engines per client (about 5 in
my case) and about 20 clients so all together I have 100 engines, the
controller crashes.
My clients are a mix of NT4, winxp and win2000 systems.
If I run the controller on windows 2003, the controller simply

Printers Icon
I have installed Samba2.2.7a on an Ultra5 Solaris 8 Operating System. The
smb.conf file has been configured and all appears to work fine. However,
along with my shared resource, I am seeing the Printers icon. I only want
to use Samba to share resources, and not for printing. Is there a way to
make the Printers Icon invisible? I already tried the hide files, and
veto files parameters in

Netbench running on Samba 1.9.18alpha4
I have installed the latest alpha of samba (1.9.18alpha4) with the
intent of testing against the Ziff-Davis benchmark NetBench. The
compile and install went OK, and I can see the server in the browser and
connect to the public share I created (logins work OK). Running the
tests in DIAGNOSIS.txt produces no errors also.
I can also install netbench and start up the controller from the binary

Samba + Windos XP/2k + Netbench Problem
Hi all,
there is a problem with the 'Default: nt smb support = yes' option in
smb.conf for at least Samba 2.2.3a and 2.2.4 (on FreeBSD 4.5-STABLE)
when using Netbench 7.0.2 on WXP or W2k clients.
If the client is set to run 2+ Netbench engines (to simulate 2+ real
clients) and 'nt smb support = yes', all but one engine fail pretty
quickly, usually during a movefile oder

Adding points sequentially to multiple graphs in one window (device)
Dear R-help list:
I have want seems to be a simple task, but can't find a solution.
I tried querying the archives, but did not succeed.
My goal is to set up two (or more) graphs in one graph window, and
then during execution of a sequential algorithm add points
sequentially to these graphs. The graphs have different scales
/ coordinates. I use the par(mfg...) command to
switch between

Dear List,
Please put me on the right track. I have been searching for the R functions for measures of agreement. Where should I look?

[GlobalISel][AArch64] Toward flipping the switch for O0: Please give it a try!
Thanks Kristof.
Sounds like we'll need to investigate though I'd say it is not blocking the switch.
At this point I think everybody is on board to flip the switch.
@Eric, how does that sound to you?
Thanks,

Create patterns within a plot?
Dear All,
As an attempt to highlight the overall pattern in a Forest plot, I would like to "highlight" the area around HR=1. I cannot find any simple tools for painting a grey ribbon between 0.9 and 1.1. Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance!
Cheers, Patrik

[LLVMdev] Lost commit mails
Hi Chris and John,
You are listed as administrators for llvm-commits. Can you provide some help in this issue: that my LLVM svn commit messages do not reach llvm-commits?

For the term byte, I use the "archaic" definition in the C (and C++) standard (section 3.6):
addressable unit of data storage large enough to hold any member of the basic character
set of the execution environment

[GlobalISel][AArch64] Toward flipping the switch for O0: Please give it a try!
Hi all,
I added a buildbot [1] running the test-suite with -O0 -global-isel. It
runs into the same 2 timeouts that I reported previously on this thread
(paq8p and scimark2). It would be nice to make it green before flipping the
switch.
At the moment, it lives in an internal buildmaster that I've setup for this
purpose. If we fix it and it proves to be stable for a week or two, I'll
move

As far as I can see, I'm subscribed to llvm-commits with the same email address used in commits (I get buildbot failure emails to the same mail account as llvm-commits messages). (BTW, why should my subscription status to llvm-commits matter?)

Back to 3.0.1, Winbind and Solaris 9
I've gone back to 3.0.1 to try and get winbind to work with my Solaris 9
machine and NT4 domain. Everything works except user authentication. The
wbinfo and getent commands do what they are supposed to.
I've included a truss of 'su - ganguly'
According to pamlog, the user 'ganguly' has been granted access but it is
still hanging.
How do I do a truss of a telnet login?

Oh yes you are, you have this in your /etc/bind/named.conf.local :

??????? type master;
