/etc/lmhosts
Has anyone had any luck with lmhosts.
I'm trying to avoid using the -I 192.168.1.10 to identify a Win95 machine
when using smbmount
Is there an option I need to set in Samba to tell it to use /etc/lmhosts?

ZFS zpool created with MPxIO devices question
Customer asks:
Will SunCluster 3.2 support ZFS zpool created with MPxIO devices instead
of the corresponding DID devices?
Will it cause any support issues?
Thank you,

I've recently installed a CyberPower OR500 on a CentOS 6.4 system.
nut comes RPM'd as nut-hal -- and I've played a little with it - but I'm trying to figure out
just what it provides at that point. (looking at the docs, I'm not quite sure)

Samba+MySQL+Apache Authentication = possible?
Good evening,
I don't know if this is the right place to ask... but I gotta start
somewhere..
I have Samba setup as a PDC for my domain using the MySQL passdb backend for
authentication. I would also like to use other components such as
mod_auth_mysql for apache authentication.
Is there a way that it can use one of the 2 password fields from the samba
MySQL table (nt_pw or lm_pw) in

Extracting results from a median polish
Quick question from a new user to R,
How do I extract my solution of a median polish matrix from R to a spreadsheet file such as .csv?

write.csv(medpolish, file ="outfilename.csv", row.names = FALSE) ,

Sorry about that - Alioth, the server that hosts the lists, was down due to disk failure:

Samba PDC can't log into XP domain members
Hi,
I've been supporting small businesses with Samba for quite a while, but
am just now venturing into Windows domains. I recently made a Samba
server in a small office a PDC, and successfully joined 5 Windows XP/2K
clients to the domain. Single-sign-on is working everywhere, and Samba
shares work as expected.
However, I can't successfully log into the Windows XP clients from other
