I set it up according to BROWSING.txt, but yet Windows NT/95 PCs on other subnets are unable to browse and see computers on this subnet (even if those PCs are also in the same workgroup). I have finally managed to compile and install samba 1.9.7alpha5 with des, shadow passwords and PAM. I have a new problem now. my 95 clients when set to user level access control and try sharing something give this error. "You cannot view a list of users at this time. Please try again later." I belive this is because the rights on the file smbpasswd [the file containing the passwords]

Hi, Anyone knows why there's a limit of 32 callgroup/pickupgroup in * ? It is coded as unsigned int but there's an hardcoded "if( X > 31 )" like line. IMHO, 32 group is very low and I wonder what impact it would have to increase it to 2^16-1 . Anyone?

Hi. I want to use R with very large files, a couple hundred megabytes, but R crashes every time that I try. Reading help files seems to indicate that R ought to manage its memory itself.
