Hello, I need to serve one fileshare to different users in different groups ( I do so ). I gave different users different groups and told samba to make new files owned by user:group, mod 775. Ability to change the SMB password from a Windows 95 client is very fine, but if 'normal' user have no password and record in smbpasswd file apper like this user:uid:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:..... then no chance to change password from a Windows 95 client, and by using smbpasswd.

I am using memdisk to remotely flash the BIOS and other firmware. It works well for most flash programs. After the flash I need to initialize the NIC to send a signal to my management server that the flash is complete. I am curious as to how others have solved this problem. Thanks.
