Incorrect Responses on deliverable mails with LMTP server
Appears some change between 2.2.6 and 2.2.7 altered the response codes for LMTP user verification probes.

Company needing an ogg/vorbis programmer for contract work.
Hi guys.
I hope this isn't too off-topic for this list...
I work for a company that is currently using ogg/vorbis in their audio
software product as one of several possible encodings. We want to add
some new functionality to the software that will require a little
specialist coding from someone who knows the ogg codebase.
Specifically, we need a library to provide vorbis file

getting started
I am giving serious consideration to abandoning waveOut multimedia and the wav format, for most of the audio in my C++/MFC project. However, I've never done any programming with a codec, and I still can't see how to step into Ogg Vorbis. If I convert all my wav files to ogg, there seem to be two major issues I'm facing:
1) What exactly will I replace my waveOut functions with?

I'm running rle() on a long vector, and get a result which looks like

creating horizontal dataframes with column names
Greetings -- in order to write back to SQL databases, one needs to
create a dataframe with values. I can get column names of an existing
table with sqlColumns. Say I have a vector of values (if they're all
the same type), or a list (if different). How do I create a dataframe
with column names given by my sqlColumns? To make it concrete, how do
we make a dataframe

splitting time vector into days
Greetings -- I have a dataframe a with one element a vector, time, of
POSIXct values. What's a good way to split the data frame into
periods of a$time, e.g. days, and apply a function, e.g. mean, to some
other column of the dataframe, e.g. a$value?

Histograms by two factors
Hi
I am trying to print out means, STDs and histograms under two sets of factors. I can manage it for one set - see below but not for two sets. That is, I want ot print out the mean STD and Histogram for each ITEM code within each DELIVERABLE code. In addition I can only get to view the histogram for the last item. How do you get R to stop overriding the histogram for eg level 1 for factor 1

Using wk <- with(d, split(word, kind)), I get the following class table:
