WinXP/x64 - MFC CFile objects leak parent directory handles
Samba 3.0.28-0.1.95-1624-SUSE-SL10.3 A strange problem (best read in a proportional font). It only happens on an x64 XP client when accessing a Samba share. The exact same program runs fine on the same x64 XP client when the share accessed is on a Windows server or when it is run on a 32-bit XP client, regardless of whether the share belongs to a Samba server or to a Windows server. NLM OUTPUT
I am missing something fundamental. I ran the function nlm, but I don't understand how to extract the optimal solution as a numeric vector. The function produces it as one element of a list. I don't see anything in the R documentation about converting such a list element to the vector it displays. Thanks, Bob Robert Agnew | Discover Director Acquisition Analytics Marketing –

Help installing sna on Solaris 10/Intel

During the compile, it always fails and complains about __builtin_isnan (please see below for output). I have tried installing this using Sun Studio 12, as well as gcc4 from opencsw.org. windows/g95 peculiarity
I'm not looking for an answer here, this is just a report of a peculiar event I've observed and can reproduce. I'm developing a g95 (20050129) compiled package on windows xp pro using R-2.1.1, and gcc-3.4.2 (mingw special). An older version of the F95 package compiled and ran without problems. The new version of the package includes extensive changes in the code. The package has a

To all TextMate users that wants to run tests with cmd + r in Rails 2.1 and above.
Because the require ''test_helper'' at the top of all the tests is relative now (it used to be something like require ''../test_helper''), you can''t just run the file with ruby anymore. And running the file with ruby is exactly what command + r does. Which means you can''t easily run your tests from textmate. The solution:
