Permission problems on Win 7 x64
Hi, I have a major problem with permissions on files that are rsynced from Strato Hidrive to a local machine (Win 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 German). The permissions for the source file (e.g. an executable like: Xshell.exe) are: Everyone with Full control (inherited from the root of drive D:) Now I sync that file to the destination machine (Strato HiDrive) with:

Help With File transfer of files named "Apple*" + Lacie 5Big RAID
Hello Rsync Community, I have been using rsync for several years to backup servers across an array of different areas. I have run into a new problem that I cannot find an answer for. We just recently purchased a Lacie 5Big Network RAID: http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/default.aspx?EDC=1596257 for one organization. We set up a test server to start backing up to this RAID via AFP. Gluster "Peer Rejected"
Hello All, I have 8 servers.? 7 of the 8 say that gbe02 is in state State: Peer Rejected (Connected). gbe08 says it is connected to the other?7? but they are all State: Peer Rejected (Connected) So it would appear that gbe02 is out of sync with the group. I triggered a manual self heal by doing a the recommended ./find on a gluster mount. I'm stuck... I cannot find ANY docs on this

NTP strangeness...
Hi Marco, As far i can see here. Are all your ADDC servers set to the same source NTP ( preffered a stratum 1 or 2 ) server. ( and not pool ntp sources ) Because below i see stratum 4 and stratum 3 servers and a timeout on one server. When i look at this. > C:\Users\gaio>w32tm /query /peers > N. peer: 1

NTP strangeness...
In our network we found some client with clock differences. Some machine have effectively some troubles, eg have NO 'Windows Time' service defined, probably some glitches happened when moving from our old NT-like domain. Anyway, catching for that, we have found some other strangeness. Windows time service run: C:\Users\gaio>sc query w32time NOME_SERVIZIO: w32time TIPO

Double fault panic in L2 upon v2v conversion
Hi everybody, Wanted to hear your opinion and to receive a smart advice. I'm trying to use virt-v2v in order to convert ova image (exported from vmware) to run on libvirt/kvm - all this inside a VM of fedora. The converted image is also a fedora. During the conversion process, in some point of libguestfs activity, I get double fault panic from L2 (printed as part of libguest output) and the

Kashyap, just to be sure - it happens to you during the v2v conversion? on L2? While L1 and L0 works fine afterwords, right? missing level of a nested factor results in an NA in lm output
Hello All, I have posted to this list before regarding the same issue so I apologize for the multiple e-mails. I am still struggling with this issue so I thought I'd give it another try. This time I have included reproducible code and a subset of the data I am analyzing. I am running an ANOVA with three factors: GROUP (5 levels), FEATURE (2 levels), and PATIENT (2 levels), where

Re: Double fault panic in L2 upon v2v conversion
Hey everybody, Richard, you were right. I managed to reproduce the same crash without dealing with v2v (and libguestfs). Actually - it's reproducible really ease - I write a big file to /tmp on L0 (till it 100% full) and then run a L2 VM. Almost every time it crushes with double fault. Debugging, debugging and more debugging. Marcelo/Paolo, if you have any clue, I would like to hear from you.

Kernel Panic - Not synching Machine Check
This server was running fedora core 2 till 12/2/2005. It had an impressive uptime of 180 days or so. On friday I upgraded to CentOS 4.2. After upgrading to CentOS 4.2 this server has been throwing kernel panics every 10 hours or so. These are some of the error messages I am getting on the console: "CPU 0:Machine check exception :4 Bank 0 : f672100000000833 TSC 112180365ccf ADDR e2c7f7c0
