RSPython
Hi all,
I try to utilize RSPython to invoke Python from R. For me it works pretty
fine for basic applications, but I have 3 problems that may be related.
(1) I can't load other packages but "standard" ones also when I adjust the
PythonPath:

os update with plesk
Hi,
I have plesk server administration 7.5.4 on my server and am wanting to
upgrade to plesk 8.
Plesk 8 supports Centos 4.2 and the notes on the 4.2 readme say:
http://mirror.centos.org/centos/4.2/readme
If you know what you are doing, and absolutely want to remain at the 4.2
level, go to http://vault.centos.org/ for packages.
If you follow the other link listed in that doc it goes to the

CentOS-Vault missing CentOS 6.7
Hey all,
I needed to pull some rpms from the CentOS 6.7 vault for compatibility testing. I noticed that 6.7 wasn't in the Vault repo file yet, but that the repos exist. I was just wondering what the ETA is for the Vault repo file to be updated with 6.7.
Thanks,

Automounter issue
Anyone seen this before?
I have a number of file systems nfs mounted onto clients running
various versions of CentOS (and Upstream), although mostly they are
v5.x flavors. =20
The server is a Network Appliance filer.
When the build process for this team runs, it sometimes dies because
it can't find files in the automounter tree; if the engineer checks,
he sometimes sees a problem, and

Most efficient way to create a CentOS 3 test VM
I'm about to create a new CentOS 3 VM for testing, since we still have a
bunch of deployed machines running that OS.
(Don't yell at me about using old OSes. These machines won't get
"un-deployed" until they fall over dead of natural causes. Until the
last one dies, we need test and build VMs around to service them.)
I have the CentOS 3.9 *.iso files plus a local cache

CentOS-Base.repo file for CentOS-4.9 in Vault
All,
There have been many people asking for how to do installs now that
CentOS-4 has moved past End Of Life.
First, I want to tell you that it is VERY dangerous to use CentOS-4
now. There is at least 1 critical (ie, remotely exploitable root) issue
on CentOS 4 already:
https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2012-1182
The number of unpatched critical issues will grow. Using CentOS-4 is

Hello,
I recently upgraded from centos release 7.3 to 7.4 and samba 4.6.2 and
noticed that when files/folders are added or manipulated from a windows PC
via the share, extra ACLs get applied and i cannot figure out why. Nothing
has changed configuration wise and i have tried all variations i can think

CentOS 6.5 Vault Repository missing
Hey all,
I went to go and pull some rpms from the CentOS 6.5 vault, but the CentOS-Vault repo file is referencing urls that no longer exist. Navigating to the URL, I noticed that the OS folder now only contains the SOURCE folder. I noticed that this is also true for 6.6, 7.0, and others. I already have the most up-to-date centos-release rpm. I've done some searching and can't find any

Migrate from RHAS 4 to CentOS 4.2
I have a SGI Altix 350 (ia64) that came with RHAS 4, but without any
paid support. I would like to migrate the server over to CentOS.
Here is what I've pieced together from some older posts by Johnny,
can someone confirm this should work? I know this is somewhat
covered in the FAQ, although both entries refer to FC or WBEL, which
already have built-in yum support.

update repo problem?
I'm trying to install the build dependencies for an SRPM using
yum-builddep, and it's telling me that it can't get the repo sqlite
file for updates-source from vault. Any ideas? Something wrong with my
repo configuration? The only thing I've done that should have touched
the repo configuration is installing epel-release-7-1.noarch.
Thanks!

Sorry .. all the SRPMs except centos-release and anaconda are in 6.8/cr/
in vault.
Let me do anaconda and centos-release now and then I'll hardlink the
others into 6.9/os along with those.
Should be out in about an
