Added new guide OCS Inventory NG to wiki
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, everyone. I added a new guide for installing and configuring the OCS Inventory NG server/client system on CentOS 5.x. Also, there's some brief explanations for integrating it into GLPI. I added it under non CentOS applications, since I think it fits in best there. Regards, Max - -- # find . "*imbecile" -exec sed -ie

[LLVMdev] LLVM Parallel IR
I'm part of a research group at MIT looking to create an extension of LLVM that inherently allows one to nicely code a parallel loop. Most parallel frameworks tend to take the body of a parallel loop and stick it inside of a function for the parallel runtime to call when appropriate. However, this makes optimizations significantly more difficult as most compiler optimizations tend to be

Missing data (Na) and chi-square tests
Dear everyone I am a bit of a computer imbecile and are having problems with R. I am using R in my research project to do chi-square tests on data imported from excel . However I have som missing data in one of my variables (columns) and I need R to "exclude" these and make chi-square test on the data that I have. I use a formula to make 2x2 tables which is: data <-

Output of --list-only not as I expected for symlinks
Thank you. But I'm afraid I don't understand. The man entry reads: "--list-only This option will cause the source files to be listed instead of transferred. This option is inferred if there is a single source arg and no destination specified..." It doesn't say anything about "list remote files". In fact I am not sure why it would even contact the remote

Output of --list-only not as I expected for symlinks
My apologies. I'm evidently not communicating very well. I am not asking for a list of what "needs to be transferred", I am looking for a list of those things that are "candidates to transfer". In other words, the source items minus exclusions/filters or anything else that will be ignored (by rsync). Is there any option for rsync that offers such a list? > find

Need subfolders - convert to Maildir & how?
I just installed Dovecot and it is working great. But I need subfolders. Does this mean I need to convert to Maildir format? I found several tools to do the conversion, but is there anything that needs to be changed in Dovecot to make the switch? Any advice appreciated. Thank you, Michael Hipp Heber Springs, AR, USA

MANOVA with repeated measures in R
Dear list member, I deperately need an help in performing a MANOVA in R, but I encountered some problems both in the design and in the synthax with R. I conducted a listening experiment in which 16 participants had to rate the audio stimuli along 5 scales representing an emotion (sad, tender, neutral, happy and aggressive). Each audio stimulus was synthesized in order to represent a

SQLite and ext3 journalling mode
Hi, Are SQLite users that are worried about losing data that has been committed (fsynced) better off setting data=journal than data=ordered (or even data=writeback)? The context is trying to reduce the number of writes to a flash file-system without sacrificing data integrity in the event of a power failure or OS crash. Thanks, Dan Kennedy.

Output of --list-only not as I expected for symlinks
How would it know what needs to be transferred without looking at both source and target? You are correct that it doesn't pay any attention to the target because it doesn't need a target. If the source is remote then it will connect to the remote to do a remote listing and if the source is local then no connection is needed but then neither is rsync. As far as obeying the recursive flag,

RBloomberg - Converting international stock prices into $US
To all: I'm using RBloomberg to pull historical equity prices across a range of international markets. Bloomberg defaults to returning stock prices to R in local currency, for example, blpGetData(conn, "ALUA AR Equity", "PX_LAST",start="09/30/08", end="09/30/08") returns a stock price in Argentine Peso's. If ones use the BLPH function directly

FYI: G723.1 Licensing Prices
Licensing info for the G723.1 codec, direct from the holding company that licenses the codec. http://www.dspg.com/technology/LicensePricing.html As you can see they want a LOT of money. Cisco 7960 backlight update and prices.
Hi Guys Sorry, I've been away for a few days. As the backlight is an iterative process I thought I'd get some feedback before I move to the next stage:- The colour of the backlight:- I think blue would work best? On/Off Status, I've put some thought into this and think the light should come on in the following circumstances:- Phone Rings Phone handset is picked up Speaker
