Wacky Failover Situation w/SIP - Bug?
I have a weird situation. A polycom phone is configured to use system pbx1 as the primary outgoing 'proxy', followed by systems pbx3 and pbx2. All three systems have identical sip.conf files. The phone is registered on pbx1. I shut down the Asterisk application on pbx1. I make a call. The phone sends an INVITE to pbx2. Pbx2 sends back a 407 Proxy Auth message to the phone. The phone sends

Really wacky problem with internal extensions.
We have an Asterisk server acting as a hosted PBX system for many clients, and we're going through an upgrade to Asterisk 1.6 by moving our most important (and complicated) clients one at a time. But we're having a problem with one customer that I really can't explain. I can place calls directly to one phone at the customer's location (they also have an IVR that asks for an

R hanging after loading tcltk
On R 1.3 / RH 7.1 / i386 (compiled with shared library support), I typed * library(tcltk) * help("some nonsensical string") and R never returned a prompt (but not consuming any CPU cycles). If tcltk is not loaded, I get the expected help error message, a prompt, and can continue my session as expected. Any ideas? I am running tcl 8.3.3.2. I would assume this has something to do

how to add the location debug info for each instruction
Hello, For some reason, I have to stick on llvm 3.3 for a language compiler, I find that the location debug info is attached to each instruction using !dbg, however, I found some of that information is mis-attched and need to be changed, so I want to *know what functions(I checked all funcs in DIBuilder.h but didn't find a appropriate one) are used to attach those !dbg nodes to each

Speaking of which... the attched patch fixes building when UNICODE preprocessor macro is defined (it's explained here: <http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3298569/difference-between-mbcs-and-utf-8-on-windows>). It should fix

PDC migration: printing trouble.
Hi all, we've been moving an old Samba 2.2.x PDC install to a Samba 3.0.28 PDC install. We copied the ntdrivers.tdb and ntprinters.tdb from to old to the new server. After the migration, everything was just fine, except printing seemed to be somewhat slower. As more and more user logged on, the machine got really sluggish and printing took quite long. We figured out we've got bitten

Xen 4.0.1, tap vs tap2, blktap2 documentation, and gentoo-xen-kernel problem
Hi, I''ve been testing Xen 4.0.1 with kernel 2.6.34.5 + http://gentoo-xen-kernel.googlecode.com/files/xen-patches-2.6.34-4.tar.bz2, and one of the things that I noticed immediately is there are two problems with tapdisk and this combination. First, the syntax "disk = [''tap:tapdisk:aio: ..." no longer works. When tested with HVM domU, it boots, but there was no disk

dir.xiph.org stats & metadata not posting
Hi there, We are currently in the process of migrating our online radio stations to Azuracast, everything is working well except when we attempt to post On Air and Listener stats to your directory, they don't show up. Additionally, the listing can't be found in searches most of the time, but occasionally will come back for a few minutes and then disappear. I've setup a test station at

"ls -l" command and performance of sftp
Hi all, I am using OpenSSH4.3p2. User database is stored in LDAP server. When I tried to list about 400 files using "ls -l" command in ftp and sftp, I observed that sftp took considerable amount of time greater than ftp. I suspect sftp does not cache the username and groupname lookups and makes fresh calls to getpwuid(), getgrgid() functions for each file that makes its performance
