installing xen-3.0.3 on AMD sempron, CentOS4.4
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hi
I''m currently using xen-3.0.2-testing on several servers. But when xen
3.0.3 was announced I wanted to try it, of course it should have several
iprovements and bugfixes, etc.
I did the same steps I was previously done in order to compile
xen-3.0.2, and in fact xen compiled and installed very cleanly.
I created my initrd image and then I

subplot strange behavoir
Hello,
Below is some example code that should reproduce an error I'm encountering
while trying to create a tiff plot with two subplots. If I run just the
following bit of code through the R GUI the result is what I'd like to have
appear in the saved tiff image:
x<-seq(0:20)
y<-c(1,1,2,2,3,4,5,4,3,6,7,1,1,2,2,3,4,5,4,3,6)
plot(x,y,type="l",las=1,ylim=c(0,12))

Setting up a lustre zfs dual mgs/mdt over tcp - help requested
Hi all,
Here is the situation:
I have 2 nodes MDS1 , MDS2 (10.0.0.22 , 10.0.0.23) I wish to use as
failover MGS, active/active MDT with zfs.
I have a jbod shelf with 12 disks, seen by both nodes as das (the
shelf has 2 sas ports, connected to a sas hba on each node), and I
am using lustre 2.4 on centos 6.4 x64
I have created 3 zfs pools:
1. mgs:

Default for bin limits in hist()
Hello all.
I noticed that the default setting for breaks in the construction of histograms in hist() is ?right = TRUE?.
I think ?right=FALSE? would be more consistent with usual definitions of lower and upper limits for bins in applied statistics, and I suggest that you consider making it the default for hist().
For example, I generated the following frequency distribution for duration of

[PATCH v4 4/7] v2v: -o libvirt: use a Lazy for the connection
Store the Libvirt.Connect.t object as instance variable, so it can be
used also outside of prepare_targets. Use a private method to access
it, so there is no need to directly use the Lazy object.

apply family functions
Hi all,
I would like to flag each record in the data according to certain conditions
as specified below.
For example,
If "Close_date" in *dat* is between ("Open" & "Close") or ("Open1" &
"Close1") or ("Open2" & "Close2") in *oc, *flag the records as "Valid",
otherwise "Invalid"
I would like to

[PATCH] v2v: make virsh command quiet if v2v is quiet (RHBZ#1358142)
Pass -q to virsh if virt-v2v was run with -q, to reduce its output in
quiet mode.
Unfortunately this does not currently work in virsh as it should, see
RHBZ#1358179, so only after that bug is fixed this change can actually
take effect.

[PATCH 5/5] v2v: Add -o rhv-upload output mode.
PROBLEMS:
- Spools to a temporary disk
- Need to specify direct/indirect upload via flag
- Location of ca.pem
- Target cluster
- Delete disks on failure, or rename disks on success?
- Handling of sparseness in raw format disks
This adds a new output mode to virt-v2v. virt-v2v -o rhv-upload
streams images directly to an oVirt or RHV >= 4 Data Domain using the
oVirt SDK v4. It is more

ssh(1) documentation for -L and -R
I found that the documentation for -L and -R was hard to understand.
So I made some changes to try to make it clearer. I started with Revision
1.328 from http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/src/usr.bin/ssh/ssh.1
Comments welcome.

[PATCH] v2v: -o libvirt: always write pool names (RHBZ#1141631)
When creating the XML for the new guest, always put the name of the pool
containing the disks, even when -os specified a pool UUID: libvirt does
not handle pool UUIDs for storage, but only names.

scp.1
A few people have commented that the synopsis in 'man 1 scp' is a
bit difficult for humans to parse. I attach a diff between the
distributed version and mine:
(I suppose this should really go to the OpenBSD maintainers, but I
wanted a little feedback about whether this was better or not.)

Question about -b mode of sftp(1) and auto-chdir behaviour
Hello,
i'm curious to know wether the automatic chdir behaviour of sftp(1)
in batch mode is a side-effect of the current implementation, or
if it's instead a regular feature. And, if it's indeed the latter,
wether there is any compatibility problem if one would actually
rely on it?
I'll attach a copy+paste diff to document this nice feature in
sftp.1, just for the hoped-for case.

[PATCH] v2v: -o local: Check that UEFI firmware is installed before conversion.
Avoids a lengthy conversion followed by failure if we discover at the
end that OVMF is not installed.
This also changes the order of the methods in -o libvirt and -o qemu
so that it matches the order in the class interface, and also
logically makes more sense.
Partial fix for: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1429506
Thanks: Christopher Brown

The previous patches seem OK. On a quick glance this one also seems a
good start.

We surely need a new argument for that.
