Performance Tuning - ZFS, Oracle and T2000
Hi All,
We are currently in the process of testing Solaris 10 with ZFS and
Oracle and are running it on a T2000.
When checking performance statistics on the T2000, we notice that only
one thread of the CPU appears to be doing any of the processing.
Leaving all other threads seemingly idle.
Are there any tuning parameters that need to be set or changed when
running Oracle on T2000 using

Movistar sip Mexico
Hello,
I have a problem with movistar in Mexico with a sip calls. Movistar send to
me T38 and G729 in the INVITE and they say that I have to ignore T38 and
use G729 in the voice call.
When a fax call is made Movistar send only T38 in the INVITE.

Running version 2.5 beta as a service
Hi,
When installing Icecast2 (stable) on Debian9 using ATP packet manager, we need to go into /etc/default/icecast and enable the init.d script with ENABLE=true if we want to run Icecast as a service.
I?ve been playing with icecast 2.5 beta installed from source and obviously this means things are located in different places. I would like to know if it is also possible to run this version as a

String manipulation---mixed case
Hello,
Does anyone know of a "slick" way to get R to convert a string which is all upper case to a string where the first letter in each word is upper case and all others are lower case?
I suspect the solution is to begin by parsing the string, convert the appropriate letters to upper and lower case using "toupper" and "tolower", and then to paste the pieces back

Could someone take a look at #9477 (new fieldset_tag helper)?
Hi everyone,
I just submitted a patch for a new fieldset_tag helper.
It''s helpful and encourages developers to follow web standards, etc.
"+1"s welcome :-)

How about a mascot for R?
R users,
How come R doesn't have a mascot? Linux has one and so does LaTeX, so shouldn't R? I personally think that associating a "friendly face" with R would be a good thing for R (one letter names can be quite intimidating).
I apologize if this is addressed in the FAQ. I searched the FAQ as well as the mailing list archives and checked
?mascot
but to no avail. ;-)

Remote call pick-up
Hi,
Does anyone have remote call pick-up working on * (either via SIP or
otherwise)? If so then can you post your features.conf, sip.conf and/or
zapata.conf?
We can't seem to get this (seemingly simple) function to work.
Cheers,
Damian.

IPV6 in version 2.4.4
Hi,
I would like to know whether Icecast version 2.4.4 supports IPV6 listener connections? I have some mobile phone users that connect to my web server with an IPV6 address but then connect to the Icecast server via IPV4. I assume that IPV6 is supported in version 2.5, but I am not able to upgrade to that version just yet. If it is supported in version 2.4.4, can anyone refer to me to

Cannot update xiph repository
Hi,
I apologise for the naiveness of this question, but I experienced an error when running apt-get update on Debian 9.
It’s telling me that it can’t update the xiph repository.
Not sure if I should be asking for help about this here, but if not… please let me know where I should take this issue.
Any help is appreciated.

I have resources available to host a portal specifically for the Asterisk system, to help correlate documentation, FAQ's and How To
I am new to Asterisk, and my hardest work is in locating information on using or configuring the software.

Samba 3.x and PCNetLink domain trusts
I am trying to establish a domain trust between a Samba 3.024 domain and
a PC Netlink 2.0 domain.
Currently, we are using PC Netlink as our primary Windows file server
and "NT4" domain controller. (Lets say that the domain is called LEGACY
and the domain controller LX1) Windows 2003 servers are unable to
join a PC Netlink domain (even with the SignOrSeal option disabled.)

Parsing status-son.xsl
Hi,
I realise that the web is littered with posts and discussions concerning the topic of getting icecast stats from the xsl files (status-son.xsl) in the icecast web directory. As you may know, many of the solutions are outdated and example links are broken. I have limited knowledge of how to write my own javascript to get this info to display on my own website. Wondering if anyone can refer me

Yet again: Gem plugins
The patch I''m working on is just a) A more declarative way of
specifying the gems your app uses, and having Rails automatically
require them for you, and b) A mechanism for enabling those gems hook
up to your target app, just like init.rb does for file-system plugins.
Please take a look at the Trac ticket as it''s more self-explanatory:

Streaming SSL / HTTPS with m3u file
Hi,
I installed icecast2 on Debian 10 via backports for buster so that I could get ssl support.
I’ve successfully configured iceacst to stream via ssl within the browser. No problems there.
For instance I can successfully open a https link to the stream with a URL like https://domain-name.net:8433/mountname <https://domain-name.net:8433/mountname>
However, the same URL with .m3u at the
