similar to: rsync ported to BeOS-bone

Hi, I tried to build rsync-3.0.0pre4 on a list of different plattforms and got some problems with build or test suite. first, the good news: the build and tests worked fine on these plattforms Solaris 5.5.1, 5.6 and 5.8 (sparc) and 5.10 (x86 and sparc) SUSE Linux 9.0 (amd64), 10.1 (amd6) SLES10 (32 and 64 bit) RedHat 7.1 and 9.0 (32 bit) RedHat EL3 (ia64) problems

Thanks for the help Jim. I have found the testsuite stuff, and this in turn pointed me at build.samba.org, which in turn told me that the build farm is using cc instead of gcc. I was able to get the compile finished with cc and make (rather than gcc and gmake). One thing to note: I could only get the ssh-basic.test to work by adding a kludge and commenting out the "ThisShouldGo Line."

This is to let you know that although rsync compiled on MacOSX 10.2.2, it failed certain tests. I have attached two files: (1) The combined output of "./configure" and make", and (2) the output of "make check". Please let me know if you need any further information.
