Unhelpful error message when matching hosts in access list [PATCH]
Greetings,
As previously reported by me to the Debian bug tracking system:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
An access list in rsyncd.conf may contain hostnames as well as
addresses. It may contain several patterns to match against.
address_match (in access.c) does this by trying to match hostname and
address against each of the patterns until a match is

rsync & ldap authentication
Hi,
I'm trying to get rsync 2.5.6 to authenticate users via openldap-2.0.23. I was looking through the mailing list archives and found a patch for rsync-2.4.6 that does this for me. I was just wondering if this is still valid, or if there has been a new patch or new implementation that has superceded this patch. Any help would be great. The message I am referring to is as follows:

[LLVMdev] RFC: llvm-shlib-test (Was: [llvm] r191029 - llvm-c: Make LLVMGetFirstTarget a proper prototype)
Attached is what I got thus far.
What I'm struggling with is proper integration in build system. What
is in there is just wild guesses from my side, both on autoconf and
cmake variants. It would be great if someone with proper knowledge of
the buildsystems could have a look. Also I'm not sure how to properly
handle compilation on msvc - clearly "-std=c11 -Wstrict-prototypes" is

File_column crashing WEBrick when using :magick options
I''m trying to use file_column in an app I''m writing. Simple file uploads
are working fine.
However, when I try and use the :magick options to make resized
versions, WEBrick dies.
This is the Media model:
class Media < ActiveRecord::Base

:magick => {
:versions => {

Limiting dtrace depth
If I use a simple dtrace script such as this:
fbt::somefunc:entry{self->trace=1;}
fbt::somefunc:return{self->trace=0;}
fbt:::entry{}
fbt:::return{printf("%lx", arg1);}
then it will descend to whatever depth is necessary
If I want to limit it to say 3 functions deep, how can I do that?
The quick answer I want to use is to do "self->depth++" on each entry
and then

Reshaping dataframes
Hi,
I have a data set with variables that are _not_ missing at random. Now I
use a package for learning a Bayesian Network which won't accept NA as a
value. From a database I query data.frames with k,k+n,k+2n, ... variables
(there are always at least k variables as leftmost columns). Using
rbind.fill from the reshape package on two data frames I would get a data
frame like

Strange problem with rsync and expect
Version: 3.0.6OS: CentOS 6.6
I met a strange problem when using rsync with expect. I wrote a script backing up using rsync and expect. However when I run the script twice for two different files at same time, the two files on destination path would be deleted automatically before the files closed. The output of inotify_wait was like:
./ MODIFY .redo02.log.dOlbek
./ DELETE .redo02.log.dOlbek

OpenSSH-2.1.1p2: Is this misuse of strtok?
Is this a misuse of strtok() in OpenSSH-2.1.1p2?
readconf.c:process_config_line() calls strtok() to
parse config lines. When it finds oProtocol it calls
compat.c:proto_spec() which in turns uses strtok().
However on return of proto_spec(), process_config_line() calls
strtok() once more to (quoting from the source code)
/* Check that there is no garbage at end of line. */
But surely strtok()

[PATCHv9 0/2] virtio_console: Add rproc_serial driver
This patch-set introduces a new virtio type "rproc_serial" for communicating
with remote processors over shared memory. The driver depends on the
the remoteproc framework. As preparation for introducing "rproc_serial"
I've done a refactoring of the transmit buffer handling.
NOTE: These two patches are identical to first two patches of the V8 patch-set,
