--min/max-size affects only transfer, not --delete, why?
Logically, deleting the dst file which does not exist on src amounts to "transferring the non-existence" of that file from src to dst. Therefore, if files larger or smaller than some size are ignored in transfer, they must just as well be ignored in deleting (much as --exclude'd files are also excluded from delete, unless you specify --delete-excluded). So I think the behavior should

SEGV with Dovecot v1.0.0 Deliver and cmusieve v1.0.1 and vacation
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, I have a small Sieve script that tries to use vacation that segfaults. The script is the one from http://wiki.dovecot.org/LDA/Sieve. When I change the email address (I changed the local part into "skai"), hence, vacation is skipped, the mail is delivered without any problem. ==== script start require ["fileinto",

FDA predict problem
Hello R help list, I am using the mda package and in particular the fda routine to classify a set of 4409 trips. I preformed a flexible discriminant analysis (FDA) using a set of 148 trips. A total of 36 predictors were considered. the resulting FDA rule was applied to the 4409 trips and for the same predictors in order to predict to which group the trip will belong. A consistent error is

Pigeonhole/sieve possibly corrupting mails
Well, I tried. for i in {1..50}; do echo x | mail -s test krakonos+test at krakonos.org; done and running lsof. Didn't catch a single lockfile. lsof runs about 1s, so there is little chance of catching it. However, I was reading the mails while they were being delivered, and didn't trigger the problem. I'll let it happen once more, so I know it's still reproducible and add

You just make a config entry in the icecast2 xml file saying which directory to use as the web root. e.g. if you give /local/music, then a file called /local/music/ska/Specials.ogg would be streamed from the url http://your.server:8000/ska/Specials.ogg I don't think it makes the m3u/pls files, but you can do that in the script that makes your web pages like you say. Hi! dovecot -n and backtrace are both attached in my original email, due to their size. Did the attachments not arrive? The relevant log does not contain much more than the trace, but here it is: Aug 21 12:58:28 ibex dovecot: imap-login: Login: user=<krakonos>, method=PLAIN, rip=77.48.73.189, lip=78.108.107.19, mpid=17785, TLS, session=<Q5igz5I66sxNMEm9> Aug 21 12:58:28 ibex

problem with non-English Windows filenames
I have a Win98 machine with Russian file names. As suggested in many places, I put the following into smb.conf: client code page = 866 character set = KOI8-R preserve case = yes short preserve case = yes default case = upper case sensitive = yes Still, the filenames as viewed from Linux are unreadable (and files are unaccessible). For example, the Russian name of the "My

Speaking of the low answer-to-question ratio, here's a question I posted a week ago but did not get a single answer. Please help me! Before posting, I've searched lots of docs (unsuccessfully), and the problem is critical for me. I have a Win98 machine with Russian file names. As suggested in many places, I put the following into smb.conf: client code page = 866 character set =

Not really. I tried copying the inbox and wanted to delete half the messages to filter out the problematic one, but opening the copy works fine. What could be the culprit? Does dovecot keep some index that might be corrupted? Well, good news and bad news. I backed up the indexes (presumably the ~/.mbox/.imap/*) and started tinkering: dovecotadm -u username INBOX did nothing, it didn't event produce a message in the log, and the indexes were not updated. I deleted the indexes, and let dovecot rebuild them. This fixed my inbox (good news), unfortunately, even after copying the backed-up files back I can no longer

Hi! I'm here again with a problem. I'm using dovecot as an IMAP server and LDA, filtering mail via sieve. However, few times a day I get the following error on server and my client (mutt) gets disconnected. Dear all! W2k, R 2.5.1 I am working with an ongoing malting barley variety evaluation within Sweden. The structure is 25 cultivars tested each year at four sites, in field trials with three replicates and 'lattice' structure (the replicates are divided into five sub blocks in a structured way). As we are normally keeping around 15 varieties from each year to the next, and take in 10 new

Standard genres for the "Genre" Field?
It might be a good idea to have a list of standard genres that are suggested for use in the Genre field, just so that (polished) encoders can give the user a list to pick from when encoding a song, instead of making the user come up with one their own. This might seem like an encoder issue at first, but if two different encoders use two different names for a specific genre it's going to

mail_location in userdb inconsistent with imap and pigeonhole
Hi! I'm still fighting with lost mails and what I think is a locking problem. As I've lost some pretty important mails already, I decided to mitigate my troubles by moving to maildir format, which should not be susceptible to these problems. I read the docs and wanted to test on my account, before I mess with all the others and possibly break something. The way to do it seems to be to
