Centos4 web hosting Control Panel
I'm looking for a nice Open Source web hosting Control Panel.
Is anybody using VHCS with Centos4?
Any other suggestions for good control panels?
We'd really prefer a panel with a MySQL backend for user settings and
such.

External Dial-up Modem
I am having an issue with Centos 6 and an external USRobotics modem. We
use the modem as part of a last resort SMS paging system.
Across multiple Dell servers, different models, I can't not get the
modem to respond to simple AT commands while using Minicom. At the same
time if I connect the server to a console port on a switch I can
successfully access the switches serial console. So I

network interface activation order
I am using CentOS as a firewall/router. I am using bonded interfaces,
vlan interfaces, and bridge interfaces. My problem currently is that on
boot the system is attempting to activate the bridge interface before
it's bonded-vlan members have been created. What this means is that the
bridge is created but not activated.
Is there anyway for me to influence the activation order and have

DNS server with MySQL Backend
Just a quick question,
Does anybody know of a good DNS server with MySQL backend?
We're currently looking at MyDNS.
Has anybody had any experience with MyDNS or other MySQL driven DNS
servers under heavy load?
Also, can anybody recommend a good DNS benchmarking utility?
Thanks for your help,
Bob.

I have Quagga up and working I just can't get it to insert more than one

Centos Router
With the current discuss of "Performance of CentOS as a NAT gateway", I
am curious how many people out there are using CentOS as a
Router/Firewall in an enterprise or service provider environment. For
myself I am not really concerned about NAT just a stateful firewall.
The other half of my questions is about performance. I have read many
articles and posts on the net about

Re: rails question
Hi Shelby,
No prob,
You are having trouble b/c you don''t call @festival.valid? before this line:
if !(@festival.errors.invalid? :name ) # => true if name is invalid
I wasn''t clear about it in my post, but ActiveRecord::Errors#invalid? doesn''t actually do validations. It just looks at the associated errors object (which is empty if validation hasn''t

extracting selected rows, based on a 'list' of values
Hi,
I was trying to extract certain rows from a table. For example, if the value in the first column is "a", "d", "k", or "z", then I would like to extract these rows. In other words, if the value in the column is also an element in my list (a,d,k,z), then I would like to extract the row.
I've looked in the archives and the solutions I could find

[LLVMdev] Wrapping ::print() in LLVM-C.
Hi.
The LLVM-C bindings wrap over Module::dump() and Value::dump().
However, it'd be nice to have wrappers for Module::print(),
Value::print() and Type::print(), with the result returned as a
string. This would be more useful to the caller (especially when
LLVM-C is used in further restriced environments like Python!).
This also improves testability of the Python and OCaml bindings, where

IP Dialog Hangup problem
If receive a call on the IP Dialog SipTone II, and the other end hangs
up first, the siptone immediately enters into the congestion tone. If I
initiate the call from the siptone and the other end hangs up first,
same thing -- congestion.
The same thing happens if we make calls from the analog phones attached
to the Mediatrix 1102.
This does not happen on our Snom 200 phones, which have

Can't connect Snom 190 to Asterix PBX. Suggestions?
Hello,
I'm attempting to get Asterisk running for the first time in my company. As
I've never used it before, I am creating a small testbed with which to learn
Asterisk and get the kinks worked out before attempting to roll it out.
I have * compiled and running, and built the sample config files as
suggested by the Wiki. I got my Snom 190 configured to use DHCP, and have

Can't connect Snom 190 to Asterix PBX. Sugge stions?
Here is a part of a working sip.conf for Asterisk with SNOM190 Phones.
Try using host=dynamic and have a closer look at the configuration in the
snom 190.
Also, try using dtmfmode=rfc2833 .

Asterisk on Pcengines Alix board
Hi all,
I have successfully compiled and installed Asterisk on an Alix board
(AMD Geode 500 Mhz + 256 Mb RAM) on top of Voyage linux (a Debian
variant).
I'm using it at home for a month.
I wondered how much it could be loaded, so I tested it with pbx-test:
I could place up to 15 simultaneous SIP calls before it got no more
responsive.
All in all a good, stable and cheap solution for home
