Wierd timestamp problem
Greetings, We found out today that rsync has been missing some files. Here is the senerio: We have two nfs servers in different datacenters, one being the backup to the other. We want to keep them up to date so we use rsync inside crontabs. We have Solaris, AIX, True64 and VMS systems reading and writing to the nfs drives. I am running rsync on Solaris 8 servers. What

Samba and OS X 10.4.2 - vfs quota inheritance not correct
We're running Samba 3.0.20 on a Solaris 9 server, using the Blastwave build. smb.conf file is below. Our user homes are on a Veritas file system with vxquota enabled, usually 50M per user, and then users have links under their home dirs to file systems with larger quotas or no quotas. For example, /home/joeuser has a 50M vxquota, but /home/joeuser/aux is a softlink to /vol/aux on which

[LLVMdev] building llvm-gcc4 with a different target name

Because I have /opt/local before /usr/bin, gcc ends up using llvm-gcc4 to build all my code. Most of the time this

[Kernel 3.1.5] [OCFS2] After many write/delete on ocfs2 both servers in cluster kernel oops
+cc: ocfs2-devel, sunil Marek, Thanks for the detailed report! Can I trouble you to file a bug at http://oss.oracle.com/bugzilla ... oh, is that your report http://oss.oracle.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1339? This looks like a deadlock of some sort. I don't think your hardware configuration really matters here. We'll keep looking into it. Joel On Tue, Dec 20, 2011 at 08:22:48AM
