Park and PARKINGDYNAMIC
I have been trying to get the dynamic parking working.
For some reason when I park a call using this method the console says it is
using the default parking context not the one I am trying to specidfy. It
also is playing the parked extension to the caller. I am transfering the
call to an extension that is doing a goto to the context below. Any ideas
or examples on how to make this work.

Dynamic Parking Lots. Music on Hold Class
How can we set the music on hold class using the Dynamic Parking lots?
The variables set the PARKINGLOT, PARKINGDYNAMIC,
PARKINGDYNPOS,PARKINGEXT,PARKINGDYNCONTEXT
I can't find a PARKINGMOH variable. This is becoming a big issue. We are
using the current release 11. version
We have to be able to set the MOH dynamically I just can't find the
mechanism. Any ideas?
Thanks

Dynamic Call parking
Hello,
I am trying to create a dynamic call parking lot using
https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Application_Park
But this manual is not enough to fix my problem : Asterisk keeps trying
to park the call in the default parking lot :
[Jul 2 11:32:14] -- Executing [3333 at from-770000:5]
Set("SIP/testacc77000-00000002", "PARKINGDYNAMIC=parkinglot_test") in

park()-command always parks on default 701
Hello,
I have the following in my dialplan :
exten => callpark,n,Set(PARKINGDYNPOS=200-210)
exten => callpark,n,Set(PARKINGDYNCONTEXT=parked_001)
exten => callpark,n,Park(20000,,,,s,parkinglot_001)
I see on the CLI :
[Nov 25 15:08:47] -- Executing [callpark at pbx-routing:10]
Set("SIP/SipT01-0000000b", "PARKINGDYNPOS=200-210") in new stack

Multi-Tenant Parking
Has anyone managed to get multi-parking lot call parking working correctly? I've had several attempts at it, and never seem to be able to get it to go properly - (actually, at all):
I've most recently done this with 1.6.1.x, and now 1.6.2.x, with no luck in either case. What I've been "trying" is the following:
features.conf
[general]
parkext => 100

Multi-tenant parking broken in 1.6.1.1?
Hello, all. With the assistance of very helpful folks, our brand new
multi-tenant setup seems to be working smoothly from start to finish
with just a bump or two. The biggest is parking. Now that we got most
kinks worked out, I'm a little more comfortable in trying to resolve
this.
There seem to be two problems:
1. Parking assigns parking spaces from the default group no matter

Asterisk 1.8 Multiple Parking Lots
Hello,
Recently we have been using asterisk 1.6 and everything worked ok, all our productions server are 1.6. Recently we have upgraded one to 1.8 and multiple parking call are not working, which worked pretty ok on asterisk 1.6. Are there any major changes in asterisk 1.8 related to park call and multiple parking lots. Bellow is my config from asterisk 1.6 which worked, I`ve tried this in 1.8

Multiple parking lots use default park positions
Hello, all. I'm having a deeply frustrating time getting multiple
parking lots to work and am wondering what I am doing wrong. I am using
Asterisk 1.6.1.1. I defined two separate parking lots in features.conf
as follows:
[parkinglot_a100] ; SSI
context => a100-parking
parkpos => 900-920
findslot => next
[parkinglot_a10] ; EBC
context => a10-parking
parkpos => 800-820

Is Samba running on a Dual boot system while using w2k ?
Hi all,
I'm new to Linux and Samba. I have two seperate hard drives, one has w2k
and the other Red Hat Linux 7.3. Yessterday I struggeled to make the
SWAT work. Then I realized that now I need to learn how to use SWAT.
Before I invest time in learning how to use SWAT, my question is if I
using w2k, can I access the hard drive that Linux is on and vice versa.
Theis question came to my

p-values with pvclust
Hi,
if you look at the first image (Image1) you see that there are 2 main
clusters 7 and 8
I wanted to use pvclust to calculate a p-value whether these clusters are
due to chance
or statistically significant. Unfortunately pvclust does not provide a
p-value for the first
brunch (7 and 8).
So I added a row to my matrix which is very different to the rest of the
data to create an additional

search and UTF-8 normalization forms (NFD)
Hello,
on a system with dovecot 2.2 I've got a mailbox containing multiple mails
from a person called Kr?ger, but From: header encoded differently.
Some are encoded in UTF-8 normalization form decomposed (as used by Mac OSX),
that is u and umlaut accent as sperate combined codepoints
instead of one ?:

data set changes
Hi all,
Here's my story. I have 3 hosts, 1 remote and 2 local.
We'll say for the sake of clarity that h1 is remote and h2
is the local rsync pull host and h3 is also a local host
on the net.
Using rsync, I want to pull a data set first from h1 to both h2 and h3.
The first pull copies all the data from h1 to h2 and h3. OK, that gives
me a baseline of the data on both h2 and h3.

Parking lot
Is there any way to have Asterisk call an extension in dial plan instead of
original extension after timeout?
Like extension A puts the caller in parking lot, he leaves the phone and
forgets about it, instead of having that phone rings after timeout, have a
group of phones rings.

Asterisk 1.6 and multiple parking
Hi,
One of the big features of 1.6 was described as multi-tenant parking.
Basically, parking people in different "lots" so the sales dept. could only
pick up their calls, and tech support theirs and no mix up was possible.
I can only find the original announcement and others asking the same
question. Is there some sort of sample conf file of how I would get this
functionnal on

Intel AMX programming model discussion.
Hi Philip,
Your idea make sense to me in my first thought. Thank you for the idea. I will take more time to think it over to see it can help to reduce the complexity of tile register allocation.

Selective canreinvite in multi-tenant environment
Hello, all. In our multi-tenant environment, we would like to be able
to use the reinvite media redirection within Asterisk for calls within a
tenant but not between tenants. We would like inter-tenant calls to be
fully proxied by the Asterisk server. I think the answer is, "we
can't," but I thought I'd ask anyway.
I'd dearly like to remove the substantial traffic

Multitenant or Multiple virtual machines
Hi all,
We want to offer hosted PBX services to some of our clients (maybe
10-20) and were wondering if it makes sense to get a software package
capable of handling multiple virtual tenants or if we should just
create multiple virtual machines in our server each running a single-
tenant license of the software.
We have been researching virtual PBX software for asterisk for a
couple of
