[PATCH 10/13] nv50: proper linkage between VP and FP
This moves construction of the mapping between VP outputs and FP inputs into validation. The map also contains slots for special outputs like clip distance and point size, so we need to at least merge the VP related and FP related parts on validation if we want to support those. Now we match every single FP input component with results from the VP and leave those not read out of the map, or

Background color of plot
I'm using the parameters "mfrow" and "mfg" to display some graphics(plots) at the same time. Although, because of the parameter "mfg", the parameter "bg" don´t change the background color. What can I do to solve this? Here is the code I'm using... ... i <- 1 for(j in 1:4){ for(k in 1:2){ limiares <-

frailty and time-dependent covariate
Hello, I'm trying to estimate a cox model with a frailty variable and time-dependent covariate (below there is the statement I use and the error message). It's seems to be impossible, because every time I add the time-dependent covariate the model doesn't converge. Instead, if I estimate the same model without the time-dependent covariate it's converge. I'd like knowing if

Help in improving the style of R plots
Dear all, I am running a MCMC on my data, and I want to plot the results of the simulation. I want to dedicate a page in the PS file for each element in my sample, and in each page I need to plot 8 quadrants. In attachment you find my first attemp (just the first page). Here are my troubles (I'm sorry if they are stupid, but I am a newby with R): -) I need to substitute the greek letters

Grouped spaghetti plots in multipanel graphs
Dear Rxperts, Is there a simpler way to generate multipanel grouped individual profile plots? All individuals of a group within a panel have the same color. As of now I am using lattice::xyplot to get the desired effect. Please feel free to suggest other ideas. Also, I am trying to create a generalized function which goes on similar lines like this.. grpPlot <- function(dat, mpgrp=quote(G),

Bar plots with stacked columns marked with askterisks
Hi, I'm trying to plot bar graphs with stacked columns marked with askterisks for certain columns, which follow certain criteria. I've gotten the stacked bar plots with Data set A (please refer to code below). However, I haven't figured how to put asterisks on columns based on some extra information (such as "used/unused") as in Data set B i.e. asterisks at the

persp(), x- and y-axis with character strings
Dear R list, I want to plot the yield curve in a 3D graph: the x-axis refers to time; the y-axis refers to the maturities and the z-axis are the yields. The following code works fine: persp(y, x, as.matrix(ypper), xlab="Last 50 periods", ylab="Maturities (months)",zlab="Yields", zlim=c(3,6),theta=130, phi=15, col="Seagreen", box=T,

Using Lattice, LatticeExtra - Hide right and top axes in multipanel plots
Dear Rxperts, How do I hide the top and right axes in multiple panel plots? A couple of examples are provided below.. Would highly appreciate appreciate your assistance.. #Example 1 library(latticeExtra) xyplot((1:200)/20 ~ (1:200)/20, type = c("p", "g"), scales = list(x = list(log = 2,alternating=0), y = list(log = 10,alternating=0)), xscale.components =

Lattice xyplot multipanels
Derar Rxperts, I have a strange situation.. I see curly brackets around "strip.levels" in multipanel strips while using lattice::xyplot. .How do I get rid of the curly brackets? For some reason, I am not able to reproduce the problem using an example below... Any suggestions are highly welcome! Thanks, Santosh q <-

How to add circular text for a graph with concentric circles
Dear R experts, I am plotting the population of students who live in a city, and in successive circular bands made of the contiguous districts that surround the city. This is a stylized figure, where I specify the area of each successive circle based on the cumulative population of students. I want to compare two sets of concentric circles across different populations - such as 'All

3D plot RGL
Hi, anyone has experience with 3D plot (ex: in package RGL) I have a question, I draw a 3D plot of country, year and sales in z axis but when the type is "h" then it's ok but when I want to link the points and type is 'l' lines it's a mess Is there a way to link the points only in one direction? For example a unique line from each country through each year? The code

how to draw a perspective pyramid

I can easily do the one dimensional plot (code below), but I can't figure out how to do it in a perspective plot for two input variables. Does anyone have a simple solution? Thanks! Perspective or Contour Plot of a Matrix
I would like to plot a large (401 x 101) matrix of numbers as a perspective plot (with the columns and row indices as the y and x components and the values in the matrix at the z values). I try to convert it to a data frame, but it always errors out with "Figure margins too large". What does this mean? How can I get the plot generated? Thanks -- -Alex Morgan Homepage:
