Is anyone using libvirt for lxc ? I am trying to do so and running
into an issue. The system container starts fine with lxc tools and am
able to connect to it.
Here is the snippet of my xml file (rest is same as in

performance with libvirt and kvm
Hi,
I am seeing a performance degradation while using libvirt to start my
vm (kvm). vm is fedora 12 and host is also fedora 12, both with
2.6.32.10-90.fc12.i686. Here are the statistics from iperf :
>From VM: [ 3] 0.0-30.0 sec 199 MBytes 55.7 Mbits/sec
>From host : [ 3] 0.0-30.0 sec 331 MBytes 92.6 Mbits/sec
libvirt command as seen from ps output :
/usr/bin/qemu-kvm -S -M

LXC Live Migration possible?
Hallo everyone,
in March 2010 there was a discussion[1] about live migration of LXC
Containers using libvirt. I was just wondering if there are any updates
to this?

virt-install with --channel option inquiry
hi, virt guys,
This is Hongqing from Fedroa QA team. I try to forward the guest installation logs to host with virtio.
I have used virsh edit <guestName> to add a channel, it works fine.
I think it would be better if I can initialize it when I create the guest using virt-install,
and virt-install also offers the option, I have tried below, but it does not work.

ArchLinux port
I have febootstrap ported to and working on Arch, but there are a few
packages missing from the main Arch repos, and the packages need to be in
the main repos for the febootstrap sequence to work.
So I have a few quick questions, first,
how well does the supermin app work, without augeas,
are zfs, gfs and hfs used only for mounting those filesystems inside the vm
image,
and I noticed that there is

Starting a program inside VM through libvirt
Hi again.
I was just wondering if there are any support for running programs inside a
VM through libvirt. From what I can see in the API the only solution I
found was connecting to the VM with openConsole and running the program I
want. This however seems a bit tricky through Python and I was just
wondering if there are any simpler solutions.
Best regards.

significant terms in spline model using GAM
Hi.. I'm using gam() to fit a spline model for a data set that has two predictor
variables (say A and B). The results indicate that the higher order interaction
terms are significant. The R^2 jumps from .5 to .9 when I change the maximum
order for the interaction from 10 to 15 (i.e. (AB)^10 to (AB)^15). Is there any
way of finding out which of the terms in the model are really

using both ConnectTo and AutoConnect to avoid network partitions
Hi Guus
Thanks for clarifying. Some follow up questions:
- How do we patch 1.1pre14 with this fix? Or will there be a 1.1pre15 to
upgrade to?
- What is the workaround until we patch with this fix? Using a combination
of AutoConnect and ConnectTo?
- When we use ConnectTo, is it mandatory to have a cert file in the hosts/*
dir with an IP to ConnectTo ?
