Libvirt using ssh
Hello,
I'm looking that using libvirt Java library with ssh, when connection
is closed the ssh process used as connection to hyperisor is not
closed. Is there a different way than close invoking to kill that
process? If not maybe there is something to fix in java porting.
Let me know
Bye

vfs_full_audit and facility 'auth'...
I've tried to setup VFS full audit facility in some share, like:
vfs objects = [...] full_audit
full_audit:prefix = %S|%d|%I|%M|%u
full_audit:success = mkdir rmdir read pread write pwrite rename unlink
full_audit:failure = none
full_audit:facility = auth
full_audit:priority = info
but samba refuse 'full_audit:facility = auth' as a good

NTLM auth, better on a DC or on a DM?
Probably is a stupid question, but...
I need to implement some 'NTLM auth' (in squid and MSCHAPv2/PEAP on
freeradius).
It is better to install squid/freeradius in the same host of a DC, or
don't bother at all so they can be installed also on a DM?
Thanks.

Winbind ADS Issues w/ *TONS* of Pre-Research
Samba Team,
I've been trying to get my Samba server to authenticate users against a
Windows 2000 Active Directory domain controller, and it just doesn't work.
I've encountered a TREMENDOUS amount of postings from people who have run
into the same issue, and there's never any responses with a resolution.
I must have viewed more than 500 postings over the course of the day.

NTLM auth, better on a DC or on a DM?
Sorry, i'm still a bit confused.

So, ntlm_auth connect to (local) winbind, and winbind connect to DCs,
so in this way freeradius 'failover' in respect of

libvirt package
Hello list,
I'm new in this list. I have been worked in libvirt and virt-manager
packages and I am getting some problems to set it up.
Compiling libvirt and virt-manager from the source, using xen 3.0.3 headers,
from Debian package, or Xen 3.1.0 headers, from the xen-srouce tarball, the
libvirt and virt-manager work fine. For this reason, I beleave is possible
create a package of it, but it

[PATCH] auth-pam: Check the user didn't change during PAM transaction
From: Marco Trevisan (Trevi?o) <mail at 3v1n0.net>
PAM modules can change the user during their execution, in such case ssh
would still use the user that has been provided giving potentially
access to another user with the credentials of another one.
So prevent this to happen, by ensuring that the final PAM user is
matching the one that initiated the transaction.

multiple passdbs and auth sockets
I have a few systems which run dovecot 1.x as the authentication backend
for Postfix, with multiple auth { } sections like this one, each one
with a different passdb and its own socket:

}
socket listen {
client {
path = /var/spool/postfix/private/auth-10

}
