i_blocks error during fsck
Hi all,
I'm running ext3 with Linux 2.4.19pre5aa2 (and thus ext3 0.9.17)
and e2fsprogs 1.27 on an x86 laptop with an IDE disk (with DMA
enabled). The partition in question was mounted with the
data=journal and nosuid options set. All the partitions are set to
be fscked on bootup every 30 days (although I don't think this
is strictely necessary, better safe than sorry).
ext3 has been

current svn version, with FFA 1.2 I get a core dump each time.
Here is an extract form the console:

OT Mexican domains?
Hola!
In case there are some mexican readers here...
It is little difficult for an english speaker to find information
about mexican domains. Is it possible to register a domain like
"fiesta.mx"? I have seen sites selling ".com.mx" and similar but not
just ".mx".
Thanks,
Peter

First SIP-registering succeeds, second doesn't
Hi all,
I have a strange issue, with a some kind complicate architecture...
A router of our internet provider is in front of another bintec rs353j
router, at which my freepbx installation is located. However, NAT etc.
seems to work fine.
BUT: Something is not working...:
When registering my sip-trunk towards my provider (3 different
providers, all behave comparable), everything works at first.

10-fold speed drop while transferring large files from Windows to Samba server
Hi All,
I have a Linux box (P3-800MHz/196MB RAM/10GB+320GB) running Samba
3.0.22 server and a Windows XP (P3-800MHz/512MB RAM/200GB) client.
The transfer speed (both ways) is about 5-7 MB/s when file is smaller
than 700MB. For larger files there is a difference: when the Win client
writes a file on the small Linux disk (10GB) the speed is as above. But
when I copy, let's say, a 1.5GB file

v2.0 configuration parsing
I'm trying to figure out how exactly v2.0 should be parsing
configuration files. The most annoying part is if it should always just
"use whatever comes first in config" or try some kind of a "use most
specific rule". The "most specific" kind of makes more sense initially,
but then you start wondering how to handle e.g.:
1) User logs in to imap from 192.168.0.1.

Bug#648029: xen-utils-common: /usr/lib/xen-common/bin/xen-toolstack (and thus /usr/sbin/xm) works with bash, but not dash
Package: xen-utils-common
Version: 4.1.2-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
(Grave because dash is the default /bin/sh)
With dash 0.5.5.1-7.4 as /bin/sh, /usr/sbin/xm enters an infinite loop
of reexcuting itself. When run with bash, it works correctly.
I traced that to /usr/lib/xen-common/bin/xen-toolstack; here's the
diff between "/bin/sh -x /usr/sbin/xm"

Type Of Number setting (pridialplan) is not effective
Hello,
I have an Asterisk system in the UK using ISDN service from BT.
My problem is that the called number is always passed to the provider with the Type Of Number declared as ?national? despite pridialplan (and prilocaldialplan) is set to ?unknown?.
My questions are:
- How can I find out what the effective value is for the above two variables without actually making a call? (I have very

Many thanks for compiz-0.7.6, but 1 box now experiences WSOD
Danny, All
Thanks for a great compiz-0.7.6. The cylinder takes a little warming up to,
but is really cool. Of all the boxes I have updated, I have one that now
experiences the White Screen of Death (WSOD) when compiz is started. Killing X
with ctrl+alt+backspace or ssh from remote and kill compiz and emerald is the
only way out.
The box was working fine with fglrx_7_1_0_SUSE103-8.476-1 and
