[PATCH 1/2] php: make the test suite failures fatal
So far the failure of some test would have not reported a non-zero return value by run-tests.php. Since now all the PHP tests pass, we can ask for failures to be fatal, by exporting REPORT_EXIT_STATUS=1 for run-tests.php. --- php/run-php-tests.sh | 3 +-- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/php/run-php-tests.sh b/php/run-php-tests.sh index 6f9ae10..e498987 100755 ---

[PATCH] php: add a simple bindtests test
Generate a simple bindtests test for the PHP binding, so it is possible to easily test all the argument types. Unlike the bindtests for other languages, optional arguments are not tested, due to the limitations of optional arguments in PHP (or maybe they way we implement them). --- .gitignore | 1 + generator/bindtests.ml | 63 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Hi all, Nice one for a Friday afternoon ... I'm trying to follow this section of the manual : http://cran.r-project.org/doc/manuals/r-devel/R-exts.html#Using-Undefined-Behaviour-Sanitizer to build R-devel (as of a few hours ago: rev 66684) with -fsanitize=undefined,address. [PATCH 1/4] php: fix invalid memory access with OptString
OptString maps to a "s!" argument, which makes zend_parse_parameters not touch the variables (char* and length) when NULL is passed as parameter. Hence, set both to NULL/0, and check for non-NULL char* variable before checking its length. --- generator/php.ml | 15 +++++++++++++-- 1 file changed, 13 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/generator/php.ml b/generator/php.ml index

two small patches to appease clang/llvm static analysis
I ran libguestfs through llvm+clang, today, [http://clang.llvm.org/StaticAnalysis.html] It found only two things worth changing -- neither is a real problems. Adding the noreturn makes it so the tool understands line 541 of guestfs.c is truly reachable only for non-NULL "p": 540 if (!p) g->abort_cb (); 541 memcpy (p, ptr, size); >From

Remaining btrfs patches
[PATCH 1/7] mount: Add mount_vfs_nochroot This is significantly reworked from before. umount is gone as discussed, and variable motion is minimised. [PATCH 2/7] btrfs: Update btrfs_subvolume_list to take Already provisionally ACKed. Previous comment was that cleanup could be tidier. I looked into creating a new cleanup function for fs_buf, but it isn't possible (or simple, anyway) in this

[PATCH v3 0/5] threads: Add support for thread-safe handle.
Previously posted in 2015: v1: https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2015-June/msg00048.html v2: https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2015-June/msg00118.html I have rebased and tidied up the patches, fixing a few spelling mistakes, but they are broadly the same as before. I also ran all the tests, which pass. As with the previous versions, this makes a change to the API, where you

[PATCH EXPERIMENTAL nbdkit 0/2] Port to Windows using mingw.
The patches following do indeed allow you to compile nbdkit.exe, but it does not actually work yet. I'm posting this experimental series more as a work in progress and to get feedback. Note this does not require Windows itself to build or test. You can cross-compile it using mingw64-* packages on Fedora or Debian, and test it [spoiler alert: it fails] using Wine. Rich.

[PATCH 0/5] Add support for thread-safe handle.
This patch isn't ready to go upstream. In fact, I think we might do a quick 1.30 release soon, and save this patch, and also the extensive changes proposed for the test suite[1], to after 1.30. Currently it is not safe to use the same handle from multiple threads, unless you implement your own mutexes. See: http://libguestfs.org/guestfs.3.html#multiple-handles-and-multiple-threads These
