[PATCH] RHEV: OVF must have the same name as the OS UUID
ovf:Envelope/Content/Section[xsi:type='ovf:OperatingSystemSection_Type']/@ovf:id
is actually the canonical UUID of the guest, and must correspond to the
filename. If it doesn't, the VM cannot be deleted from the export domain.

struggling with R2wd or SWord? Try rtf!
I have been looking for a way to write R-generated reports to Microsoft
Word documents. In the past, I used the package R2wd, but for some reason
I haven't been able to get it to work on my current set up.
R version 2.15.0 (64-bit)
Windows 7 Enterprise - Service Pack 1
Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 - Word version
14.0.6123.5001 (32-bit)

[PATCH 1/2] Allow reading more data than the reported size of a volume
If a volume is not an exact multiple of 512 bytes, qemu-img will report its size
rounded down to a 512 byte boundary. However, when copying, the file is still
read until EOF, which will return more data than was expected. This change
prevents that causing a failure in itself.
The situation is still not resolved, however, as there are still situations
where this will cause a failure. For example,

[PREVIEW ONLY] Refactor data transfer code
This patch refactors the data transfer code with several goals:
* Have a common read(source)/write(target) loop so that common processing can
happen in the middle of it, e.g. format change/progress bar
* Provide volume metadata to transfers to allow smarter reading/writing, e.g. of
sparse files
* Simplify the data transfer code
The patch *isn't* NFC because there are some minor behaviour

[PATCH] Fix virt-v2v exit codes
If something die()s, the error status can get lost in cleanup when various
child processes exit and overwrite $?. Specifically, the RHEV target uses a
child process for NFS access, and libguestfs launches a qemu child process.
This change ensures that DESTROY and END blocks which perform operations on
child processes explicitly preserve $?.

2.4-beta fixes for MinGW
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
With these one can build 2.4-beta (AKA 2.3.99.0) with mingw32 (gcc-4.7.0).
Note, however, that win32 subdirectory is:
1) Lacking a complete Makefile.am, so it can't be built with autotools.
2) Depends on MFC, and MFC is not provided by any MinGW toolset (and
MS' MFC is, most likely, highly incompatible with MinGW).
So you only get a console

patches for copying atimes
Hi.
Here's a patch for copying the atimes of files when -t/--times is
given. I bumped the protocol to 29 since it sends more data over the
wire. It obviously does not send the atime if it's sending data to an
older rsync version.
It passes all the tests (including the added atime.test) for me on a:
Linux Debian/3.0 gcc 2.95.4 (debian), glibc 2.2.5 system.
Any questions/feedback? I

NULL ptr dereferences found with Calysto static checker
Hi,
I've ran my static checker Calysto on openssh and found the following bug:
Possible NULL-ptr deref (vc536):
@/work/benchmarks/SOURCES/openssh-4.6p1/moduli.c:173
+ ptr gtm returned from gmtime dereferenced without checking (gmtime can
return NULL).
There are probably more possible NULL-ptr dereferences, but Calysto
currently does not check the usage of library functions (for instance,

Keep-timestamp-in-`get'-patch for smbclient in samba-2.0.3
--------
--Multipart_Thu_Apr__8_13:33:51_1999-1
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII
Hello guys,
I always wondered why smbclient keeps timestamp in `put'ting a file
but does not keep it in `get'ting a file. Alternative to keep the
time stamp in `get'ting file is to use -Tc option or smbtar script,
but they are a bit hairy for interactive use, and it can only dump
files with an

[LLVMdev] Debug info for conditionally defined variables?
Hi,
I have this piece of code:
tm = local ? localtime(&curr) : gmtime(&curr);
if (!tm) return NULL;
which translates into something like:
----------------------------------------------
entry:
%iftmp.0 = alloca %struct.tm*, align 8
%tm = alloca %struct.tm*, align 8
...
// Declares iftmp.0 as iftmp.0
call void @llvm.dbg.declare( { }* %iftmp.0, { }* bitcast

improved atime patch
I posted a patch a few days ago that adds copying of atime. At that
time, it was just enabled with -t/--times. After some time, we have
figured out that that choice might not have been the best. Here's a
new version of the patch (relative to CVS) that adds -A/--copy-atime
instead. It also includes a test case.
Any feedback on this patch and/or the previous one that I posted?

Use of gmtime() in rsync + multi-thread
Hi,
I have a system in which rysnc is being used at multiple times. Since a last 3-4 months we have been observing a crash in rysnc at few instances.
I am not able to find out the solution for the same but while debugging the issue in code I found gmtime() being used in "tls.c". It is not suggested to use this function in a multi-threaded environment.
Version: rsync 2.6.2

updating qemu-img-ev 2.6
Hello!
http://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/virt/x86_64/kvm-common
Latest is now qemu-kvm-ev-2.6.0-28.el7.10.1.x86_64.rpm
while http://ftp.redhat.com/redhat/linux/enterprise/7Server/en/RHEV/SRPMS/
has qemu-kvm-rhev-2.6.0-28.el7_3.12.src.rpm
A few questions:
A) Does kvm-common have RPM builds from RHEV's SRPMS?
B) Is the plan to keep kvm-common up to date with RHEV?

[PATCH] hivexml: Do not print null input times
Dealing with "1601-01-01T00:00:00Z" is unnecessarily awkward, especially
since the value only represents a 0 found in the data.
