SWTOR requires 30Gb, wine has only 20 Gb. Allocate memory+?
I have been chosen for beta testing of Star Wars: The Old Republic. First day is tomorrow. The installer program says that I require at least 30 Gb, but Wine only has 20 Gb available. Is there a way to increase the space on the hard drive available to wine? Is any body else doing SWTOR on wine? darKoram

Developing custom type/providers for multiple OS
Hello all, I am developing a few custom providers for some features that I need into my system (such as dealing with different zipped files or generating some JSON data based on OS files) and I have hit into a question about "how to do this for multiple OS?" Lets focus into the zipped file provider that should provide a common method to pack or unpack zipped files (tar, tar.gz,

Loop Load Elimination - RAR forward deps
Hi Adam, I'm looking into your LLE pass in order to remove the RAR dependency from GVN, and I've hit a problem that might need some more thinking. I've modified your patch to cope with both kinds of dependencies in the ForwardingCandidate class, but the way the pass gathers informations only brings RAW dependencies: const auto *Deps = LAI.getDepChecker().getDependences(); if

Is it good practice to have a package depend on Rtools(for unziping of .7z and.rar files)? Crab legal?
I created this package, https://github.com/lucasmation/microdadosBrasil which we are preparing for Cran submission. The package facilitates downloading and reading most of the microdatasets (household surveys, Census, etc). For each dataset it: (a) downloads the data from the data providers (b) "unzip" the necessary files (c) imports the data into R. For (b), some of the datasets

r-package-devel is the right mailing list for your query, not here. Harris picking up before extension
Hi there! I'm setting up a connection between Asterisk ver. 1.2.13 and a Harris 20-20 PBX. More less everything went fine, but the problem I have now is when dialing to the Harris PBX, it seems to pick up my call as soon as it reaches it. For example if from the Asterisk outgoing folder I dial an extension, say 100, and play a prompt as soon as it is picked up, the promt is beign played as

rar incompatiblity from 4.4 to 4.5
i just upgraded my centOS to 4.5 and i try to install rar and i get this problem, isn't apt should automatically install all deps? ---snip---- Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against that package should be filed. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages
