Driver Installation for HASP dongle in Kubuntu
Hello,
I want to emulate the software CAD Architecture "IntelliPlus"
Website: http://www.dp-cad.com/logiciel-architecture-3d/
This software is locked with a HASP dongle
Or the download page
http://www3.safenet-inc.com/support/hasp/enduser.aspx # latestDD
I can not install the driver for it to be recognized.
How can I do?
The HASP dongle does it work with WINE?
Thank you for your help

Re: OpenGL issues on OSX (wine 1.3.21)
Hi All,
Just to show progress on this:
- With Apple's X11 compiling/linking (and using the Apple's X11 runtime):
The app did not run, just lock and no reports at all.
- With Apple's X11 compiling/linking (and using the XQuartz runtime):
The apps run without problems, pretty fast and stable, but no OpenGL rendering at all (set off screen: invalid drawable).
- With the XQuartz

I just tried the "qtgears" OpenGL demo from http://lab.bachem-it.com/opengl/qtgears (source is included) on my MacBook and I got this error:

OpenGL issues on OSX (wine 1.3.21)
I just compiled 1.3.21 on OSX using the osxwinebuilder script. It's the first time I try wine on the Mac.
I've tried some short OpenGL demos and they work, but others fail. Remarkable ones that fail are wxWidgets OpenGL demos (remarkable because the source is available, so I guess it should be easy to fix).
I run OSX 10.6.7.
While running the wxWidgets "penguin" demo, the

Re: OpenGL issues on OSX (wine 1.3.21)
Hi James,
thank you for your kind reply. The XQuartz folks recommend to logout and back in to have the DISPLAY variable set correctly, which I did. But I will also try a reboot to be sure.
When I start something with wine, the XQuartz icon comes up automatically, so I am pretty sure that XQuartz is used (Apple's X11 is not active).
I had another try with WINEDEBUG=+wgl, perhaps that brings

Broken samba
Hi,
I'm trying to setup Samba on my linux machine, running openSUSE 11.1 and KDE
4.3, so that I can share a folder with my wife's laptop which is running
Windows XP.
The following makes me think my samba installation is seriously broken, but I
don't where to start looking to fix it...

Mac OSX (10.5) & wine w/ OpenGL - Info & Issues
Firstly, hello everyone!
I'v been using wine under OSX for some time, using macports to install it and it works quite nicely (except for an issue with windows sliding down the screen, which can be fixed by setting a desktop area in winecfg). Sadly I'v not been able to get OpenGL support working.
(I am using OSX 10.5.4 with XQuartz (http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki) 2.3.0, which is

Missing module grub entry in xen-4.4.3-9 & boot issues
I've also had a few Xen systems grub entry issues. I'm not yet sure what
triggers the events, but I do think there *may* be a correlation to the
"/boot" part. I've found the Xen servers that have "/boot" before any of
the the lines like "/boot/xen.gz" ended up missing complete grub entries.
Not sure it's 100% true. Anyone else comment?
Thanks

OpenGL drivers haven't been installed correctly
The BOINC project has a screensaver that runs on Windows. I installed BOINC in a virtual machine running Windows XP (32 bit) and copied boinc.scr from the C:\Windows directory onto my 64 bit F13 system. When I run the screensaver I get an error. Any feedback is appreciated. I can run glxgears without any problem.
$ wine boinc.scr
Wine cannot find the ncurses library (libncurses.so.5).

Missing module grub entry in xen-4.4.3-9 & boot issues
HI,
We've started to see several issues with the Xen releases. Going back to
basics I've used this guide
https://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Xen/Xen4QuickStart
Once the install process is complete the grub.conf looks like this:
default=0
timeout=5
splashimage=(hd0,0)/boot/grub/splash.xpm.gz
hiddenmenu
title CentOS (3.18.21-17.el6.x86_64)
root (hd0,0)
kernel /boot/xen.gz

Re: Fwd: [PATCH] v2v: virtio-win: include *.dll too
I think one - maybe final? - problem. How can I tell the difference
between drivers for "client" versions of Windows (eg. Windows 7)
and server versions of Windows (eg. Windows 2008 Server)?
It seems in many or most cases the drivers are identical, eg:
$ md5sum viostor/2k12/amd64/* viostor/w8/amd64/*
