Is there anyway to get World of Warcraft to use stereo 3d with the NVidia 3d vision goggles under linux using wine? or do i just have to resign myself to keeping a copy of windows on my computer?

When you play a "nomal 3D" game, whether it be Halo One or Skyrim, all the data needed to make a truly 3D experience is there, it's just that only one eye's viewpoint is rendered and sent to the screen. There's this free download called the IZ3D 'driver' which has a free anaglyph mode. (Anaglyph means the two-color method to producing true 3D, in this case red-cyan.)

I just installed CentOS 6.3 on a Tyan motherboard and the NIC stopped talking after about 2 days of operation. Latest Nvidia drivers for linux has really nice speed boost. Most noticeable when gaming under Wine. When playing some latest games i had weird pauses at some effects. Now all of them are gone and the game I'm playing is almost smooth all the time =) For Ubuntu Deb packages i suggest this PPA for latest Nvidia Drivers. https://launchpad.net/~thefirstm/+archive/ppa
