Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2 problem.

i got this game through steam and the game start with no problem but then crash after finish the 1 training level. it gave directx crash message, any one know how to fix this???

Wine with Modern Warfare 1
Hi, I'm new to Wine and I'm having some problems running Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1. Ubuntu 11.04 DomU not showing external block Device
Hello, I just installed Xen 4.0.1 on Ubuntu 10.04 dom0. After this i had Ubuntu 11.04 as Para domU. I tried to attach file based disk to the this domU. cant play after updating to ubunto 11.10
I recently updated my Ubunto from 11.04 to 11.10 and I can no longer play windows games via wine. However I can still launch and use Steam, but I cant play any of the games there, Steam shows the "preparing to launch..." message but the game never launches. Also with World of Warcraft the game launcher opens up, I can see the news and all, but when I push the play button the launcher

Filename mangling warfare
Does anyone know how to tweak or disable filename mangling in Samba so windows clients don't read paths and folder names in 8.3? I have a few backup VBscripts that used to work by passing the name and path of a directory (on a Samba share) as an argument to be read by the script. Currently, on some windows 2k boxes, the full path and folder name are displayed correctly and named correctly
